20.01.2022 Repost: WWILD is excited to be facilitating a series of 2 day workshops for women who have an intellectual disability across Queensland! This is called the Listen Up! Project. The workshops aim to increase knowledge of rights and safety within relationships and organisations. Participants will be asked to contribute ideas as to how to make services safer and more responsive to their needs, and what types of resources they think will be best to convey these messages (posters..., check lists, video recordings etc.) We will then be drafting resources and meeting with participants again in the New Year to make sure we have shared their messages correctly. These resources will be distributed later next year. Workshops will be held in: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Ipswich and Rockhampton.
