19.01.2022 New Year Ritual for Manifesting the Life of Your Dreams and Releasing What No Longer Serves You . I'll be totally honest here, I am not a fan of the old new year resolution thing and here's why! It's very easy to get caught up in the idea that a new year magically acts as a clean slate where all past indiscretions are deleted as if they never happened and all of the alcohol and food you consumed suddenly doesn't have any calories. This may sound harsh but I promised that I ...will always be raw and authentic with you. I get that the start of a new year, symbolically means a fresh start and a whole year ahead to make better choices, however our past choices don't just magically disappear, they tend to follow us until we acknowledge them, heal them and release them. Yes change is tough but don't let the uncomfortable feelings that may arise pull you down or knock you of course to becoming a better version of yourself. Instead embrace the uncomfortable because all of the sweet, magical stuff happens outside of your comfort zone. Albert Einstein's definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results! Here is a simple New Year ritual that I have been doing for the last 4 year's and I am not exaggerating when I say that every single thing I have wrote down has manifested! To Release what no longer serves you. Find a place to sit in contemplation with a pen and paper. Think about all of the things that you would like to release from your mind and life. This can be habits, behavioral patters, past hurts, grief. For example, releasing the belief that you're not good enough. Be as specific as possible when doing this. Write down as many things as you need to. Then burn the paper. The burning process acts as a cleansing tool. You're clearing out the old to make way for the new. To manifest your deepest desires. Sit in contemplation again and write down the things you would like to manifest into your life. Nothing is too grand! Nothing is off limits. Dream as big as you want! Examples, "I invite in a loving relationship", "I invite in a meaningful career". Then burn the list. Visualize it actually happening.

Especially when is comes to boosting our mental health and improving our relationship with ourselves and others. Living your life with gratitude will help you to notice the little wins throughout your day, like the train arriving on time, the stranger who was super kind to you, or the beautiful sunshine. All of these things... create a web of wellbeing, that over time, strengthens your ability to notice the good things in your life. The law of attraction is a very powerful tool to use to your advantage. The more you are grateful, the more things you will have to be grateful for. With a little bit of practice, gratitude will be super easy for you. In fact it will become an automatic response. One of the most powerful ways to rewire your brain (neural pathways) for more joy, love and less stress is to focus on gratitude. Here are 10 simple ways to become more grateful; 1 Keep a gratitude journal. Each day write a list of the things that you're grateful for and that you appreciate 2 Tell someone how much you love and appreciate them 3 Notice the beauty in nature daily 4 Include an act of kindness in your life each day 5 Read or watch something inspiring that will remind you of the good in the world 6 Avoid gossip and refrain from talking negatively about yourself and others 7 Aim to compliment yourself at least once a day 8 Try to take note when people do a good job and give them recognition for it. This can include a work colleague, shopkeeper or cashier 9 Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself "I love you and I appreciate you" as often as possible (this may be uncomfortable to begin with but trust me, it's very healing and makes your self-confidence sky rocket) 10 When time's are bad, try to change your thoughts from what's not working to what you love and appreciate it your life Let's start 2021 with a heart and soul full of gratitude and be magnets for miracles! 17.01.2022 Do you have a heap of questions about what to do next? Are they simple "yes", "no" questions? If the answer is yes then a pendulum may be just what you need in order to get your answers! What is a pendulum? A pendulum is an ancient tool used for dowsing. Yeah cool story but what is it actually? It is a crystal at the end of a chain, string or rope. ... How do I use a pendulum? There are a heap of methods to dowsing, but most include a connection to your pendulum & asking it questions. When working with a pendulum you're really just asking questions of your higherself. The great news is that it's pretty simple. I use the following method because it has helped me to make decisions, find objects, & once in a while has even helped to settle an argument . STEP ONE: Center yourself. Find a place to sit & relax. Take a few deep breathes with the intention of releasing stress. Play relaxation music, light a candle or chuck some essential oils into your diffuser. Quiet your mind so you can connect to your higherself more easily. STEP TWO: Connect to your pendulum. Sit with your pendulum. Hold it in your hand, look at it, take it all in & appreciate it. I also like to hold my pendulum in my hand with a closed fist close to my heart for a minute or so. STEP THREE: Identify your questions. Get clear about the questions that you really want answered. STEP FOUR: Ask your questions! This is the easy part! Hold your pendulum 6-8 inches above the palm of your hand. Ask your question. I follow the method that if your pendulum swings clockwise its a yes & if it swings anti-clockwise it's a no. If it swings somewhere in the middle that means the answer is unclear. Keep in mind that the pendulum can only answer simple "yes", "no" questions. If you ask something that isn't directly a yes or no, your answer will be unclear. This is a really fun activity to do, even with a group of friends & it is very helpful if you feel doubt towards what step you should take next. 05.01.2022 MEDITATION TIPS FOR BEGINNERS . Meditation has many benefits which you've no doubt heard of. It improves physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, improves focus, reduces stress, anxiety as well as depression and chronic pain. However for many people, meditation is not appealing. Mainly because they believe they don't have time for it or that it's just hippie juju bs. Here are five meditation tips for beginners to help overcome the lack of appeal and to help dispel ...misconceptions. TIP 1 Start small and work your way up. Try aim for about three to five minutes at a time. Science has proven that just 3 minutes of meditation a day can change your life TIP 2 Focus on your breathing. When you focus on your breathing it helps you to get the most out of your meditation and to help reduce distraction. Breathe in deep tummy breaths! Inhale through your nose for 3 seconds, hold for 3 seconds, exhale through your mouth for 3 seconds. TIP 3 It's normal to be distracted by thoughts! A huge misconception about meditation is that you can't have any thoughts pop in. This is incorrect. The goal is to become aware of when your mind drifts and to then re-focus on your breathing. Don't be hard on yourself or criticize yourself for getting distracted. It's normal and will happen less and less with practice. TIP 4 You can meditate while moving around! You can meditate by simply being present. You don't have to sit in a dark room in complete silence with your eyes closed. If you focus on the following you can meditate while walking, drawing, painting, reading. Pay attention to how your breathing feels in your body, how relaxed are your muscles. Do a quick body scan and release any tension. What can you see and hear. TIP 5 Keep going and don't give up! Meditation feels different for everyone. Don't be disheartened if you keep getting distracted or if you can only do a couple of minutes at a time. Keep going and I promise it will get easier. XOX
