25.01.2022 Here is the first waterhole, today. Water is crystal clear and you can see a bit of sand at the bottom and the relection of the clouds in the sky.

20.01.2022 First photos of Mozaik Shelby. Harlean has presented us with a silver black filly with a white star and snip and one white sock. Pretty sure she is a splashed white blue roan with dark blue eyes. Will be colour testing her in a few weeks, and to check if she is overo or tobiano as well.

19.01.2022 We have a family of Willy Wagtails living in the paddock with the horses. This little guy was hopping around my feet as I was patting the hobbits today. The birds are liking the waterholes. You can see their footprints in the mud. We have many different bird species here that will appreciate the new waterholes, especially during summer.

17.01.2022 Automatic lawn mowers turned on in the back yard. Harlean is due soon, so waiting on the next full moon. Sansa isn't due until the end of the year.

16.01.2022 Buckshot pictured here with his maternal grandmother, Mozaik Sansa. She is a Bay Appaloosa. His spots are certainly very loud, compared to her. Mum, Mozaik Karma, is in our other paddock.

15.01.2022 With all the rain we've had, the Glenelg has risen quite a few metres. This is the river directly at the back of our pony paddocks. But you can see how high our paddocks are, compared to the river area. So no chance our paddocks will flood as they go further up a large hill.

12.01.2022 Here is the second, larger waterhole. Crystal clear water - you can see the reflections of the gum tree, clouds and Karma & her son Thunderbolt. The soil is black and rich so the waterholes are mirror like in the sunshine. I love water so it is now extra peaceful out in the paddock with just nature to listen to and the water to look at with the Hobbits for company.

12.01.2022 FINALLY! Karma has presented us with this stunning, TINY, little colt. He's a beauty. He's around 17 inches from the top of his head to toes.

11.01.2022 Poppy & Ruby are in one new paddock and the rest of the Hobbits are in the new paddock next door. Meet & greet for the first time, this morning. Thanks to Nathan from https://www.facebook.com/comptonruralfencing who did a great job on the new fencing and gates!

10.01.2022 Some more photos of our two new paddocks. We now have 5 paddocks - 3 large & 2 small - plus the big dam at the top of the hill and the 2 new waterholes. Have been waiting a few years for this and it's great to have it finally done.

08.01.2022 Mozaik Buckshot is off on his journey to his new home. We have one foal on the ground and are expecting 3 more in the next month or so. Keep an eye on our page to see what we get and if you like what you see and want one, send us a message. All foals will be microchipped. colour & DNA tested :)

07.01.2022 Our last foal is on the ground. Elysee had a colt around 6.30am this morning. Most likely a blue roan. Welcome to the world Mozaik Everleigh. He is 50% Shetland & 50% mini.

07.01.2022 First contact. Harlean let me give Shelby a rub. Thanks goodness sun is out today and it's stopped raining.

07.01.2022 Here's a video of the 2 new paddocks with their waterholes. We will be planting some willow trees close to the waterholes and on the far fence line. Not only for shade, but because willow trees have natural aspirin with helps with stock health.

07.01.2022 Shelby's coat has now started to turn a brownish colour and she is starting to shed a little around her eyes and muzzle.

06.01.2022 Time to practice my clipping skills again. Buckshot has had a body clip today. He was very patient and quiet. Not a perfect job. It took me 2 hours (with breaks). His coat was at least two inches long and very thick. He looks completely different now! Third picture is from a month or two ago.

04.01.2022 Hobbits at the big waterhole in the paddock. Karma is having a drink at the gentle sloping end where they have easy access, but can't fall in. We have done this with both waterholes.
