20.01.2022 This week our Year 5/6 students and their teachers have been immersed in an exciting range of camp experiences at Coonawarra Farm Resort located in East Gippsland. Heaps of new experiences have been enjoyed!
20.01.2022 The Preps had some very special guest teachers take over their remote learning this week. The Cat in the Hat and Thing One got up to all kinds of mischief in the lesson. Thing one was decorating the room with exclamation marks and The Cat in the hat was splashing milk around everywhere. Thankfully the lesson was a success and the clever students now know all about correct end punctuation.

Fans from acro...ss the world will be able to tune in on either our Facebook page or YouTube channel and ask our Rangers questions in real-time. This free 30-minute stream will run nightly from tomorrow. You can watch on your phone, laptop or even stream to your TV to see Phillip Islands Little Penguins swim from the ocean and waddle home to their burrows. This is believed to be the worlds first live stream of a natural wildlife event at a regular time, with expert commentary - so its certainly one you wont want to miss! #LivePenguinTV
19.01.2022 60 potatoes harvested today by the OHR students, so much fun finding them and counting them. We also learnt how to tell when to harvest potatoes, and how to store them.

15.01.2022 Our Prep Class of 2020 went all out learning from home last week by celebrating all things 100 on their special 100th day of Prep. We had a dress up day, lots of dancing and even had Mr Dame the 100 year old Principal join us for our Google Meet to help us party.

14.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week and these seeds were given to us by grandparents of one of our school families. The Yam-Daisy or ‘Murrnong’ in Koorie was a vital bush food that was all over our land. These seeds will be saved until Autumn 2021 when OHR students can learn about the Yam-Daisy and plant some seedlings hopefully to start our own bush food area at school. #naidoc2020 #yamdaisy #murrnong #australianbushfoods #indigenousbushfoods

03.01.2022 Maths Lego STEM 3D Challenge that we started in Prep today. Our challenge is to collect LEGO to make a creation. Then the students will take the LEGO apart and graph the LEGO that they have used.
