22.01.2022 After finding generous hearted and hard working volunteers we were able to contribute a reasonable amount to an urgently needed food relief programme for 300 families in lockdown. "Our" hostel boys also helped to make the food parcels.

21.01.2022 The 2020 annual pilgrimage to Gojra Pakistan has begun! Father Simon Khurshid and two priests who were ordained with him on the same day 25 years ago, celebrated mass with the large congregation. Then they cut a celebratory cake and watched children perform beautiful liturgical dancing.

15.01.2022 A big thank you! On Sunday the 10 January 2021, Father Roy Pereira did us the great honour of becoming the temporary Spiritual Director of Vincent House Incorporated. Father Roy created Malaysian-Singaporean Catholic Community of Australia ten years ago, and is the Spiritual Director to them.

15.01.2022 Small children danced as part of the celebration for Father Simon Khurshid's 25th Jubilee anniversary. Two other priests from the same seminary joined him to celebrate their 25th anniversary since ordination.

13.01.2022 More exciting news coming soon!More exciting news coming soon!

10.01.2022 The ten computers were purchased on Saturday 13 September. They will be installed this week. The older boys will be released from lockdown this week, the younger ones will come back to the Fatima Hostel for Boys next week. It will be so good to see their faces again!

10.01.2022 Thank you Father Roy! Father Roy Pereira leads a charity; Malaysian Singapore Catholic Community of Australia. They work for the benefit of orphans, indigenous and other at risk youths. They generously invited us to sell home cooked meals at their annual fund raising dance last Saturday. Pictured is MSCCA's Sandra Vernie, Father Roy stands between VHI's Jeannie Willock, left, and Christine May.

10.01.2022 The new ceiling is going to be stylish and amazing! Father Simon and Faraz have a close look.

09.01.2022 A day to celebrate!! The Bishop of Faisalabad came to open the computer lab we funded. He prayed for us, and promised to keep us in his daily prayers. After the ribbon was cut he tested a computer and instructed the other priests to do likewise.

08.01.2022 In preparation for the computers to be installed, leaks in the roof had to be fixed in the new "computer lab". A tradesman is now installing a nice new ceiling. The photo shows him at work today.

05.01.2022 Well done Jeannie, Rajes, Violet, and Nomi were at their posts all day to produce over 500 hot dogs. A highlight was some very special visitors, Fr Roy and his event manager Sandra Vernie, who bought many hot dogs, and gave a very generous donation!

03.01.2022 10 kilo bags of flour have been hard to find recently, but our friends in Pakistan were able to procure 200, allbeit at an increased price. Food is very much needed, as in Pakistan many are going hungry, and hospitals are overflowing and turning away the sick.

02.01.2022 An opportunity for another sausage sizzle fundraiser was just what we needed to bring the dream of computers for the hostel boys to fruition! Only two of us were committee members and the other volunteers generously gave their free time to help the Fatima Boys Hostel.

01.01.2022 We had a successful sausage sizzle at Bunnings yesterday, and will send the money directly to where it is needed in Pakistan tomorrow. They have a rate of 6.6% covid and are in severe lockdown with the associated poverty for millions who are without work. Our team members are all dedicated to helping people suffering hunger
