December 1 is Giving Tuesday, a worldwide opportunity to give back to the organisations making a difference in people’s lives. 24.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Melbourne Cup .. to all who hosted a function, went to a function, dressed up, donned a fascinator, donated and bought raffle tickets T H A N K Y O U ! Together we have raised over $19,500 .. Truly incredible.... It has been so wonderful; to see all the photos come in and everyone having a great time. 22.01.2022 Greetings Our Kids Family, as you know all the Our Kids functions have been affected, including our beloved Lismore Our Kids Golf Day. This event has been going since 2005. Each event has an event team that work alongside Our Kids to help make each event a success. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Ray Lindwall, Peter Warren and David Seymour for all they do to help make the Lismore Golf Day be amazing. ... This year wasn’t fun making the call to postpone. However instead of a day of golf the call went out to the regular golfers to donate to Our Kids.. and beautifully $4,710 was raised! A huge Our Kids thank you for everyone’s support and to the following who donated this year. To acknowledge these babies born too early and the health challenges they can face as they grow up Lismore Base Hospital has turned purple.... to celebrate, post beautiful premi bubs in the comments below so we can cheer you on World Prematurity Day was created in 2011 to help shine a light on the risk and hardships created by premature births and to show support and compassion for the families who have experienced premature babies throughout the world.

13.01.2022 We just wanted to let you know the Our Kids Community Grants are now open. The aim of the Our Kids Community Grants is to assist and improve the health of children in the Northern Rivers. Grants are available to:... Children’s community health organisations, health professionals, special groups that care for children living with special needs including mental health and chronically ill children within the Northern Rivers Parents and guardians who care for children living with special needs who live within the Northern Rivers Each Grant is capped at $2,000. This year, the James Frizelles Charitable Foundation and the Far North Coast Law Society, have partnered with Our Kids to help local families. The application is online via the our kids website https://ourkids.org.au/ Application close July 1 Please feel free to forward this to those you know who may benefit from the Our Kids Grants

Annalise was born with a hole in her heart & she has very cleverly evaded congenital heart surgery and is now fighting fit with the help of the Lismore Base PACS clinic and the Cardiologist.
