19.01.2022 "Wherever you are in your 2020 journey, chances are you have experienced a sense of disruption: a sense that something is ending or dying and that something else wants to be born. What’s ending and dying is often clearer than what wants to be born. But what’s often most unclear is how to move from here to there, how to sense and actualize the future as it emerges. What will it take to move us beyond the current condition to actually reshaping the future as it emerges?" The Leadership Network is a growing alliance of leadership professionals and organisations from around the globe, committed to building leadership capacity that makes progress on ‘adaptive’ issues. We are building an organisation that has a broader reach including our neighbours in the Asia Pacific, a stronger focus on leadership practitioner’s professional development and a network that encompasses multiple providers of leadership training including those in the private sector. A review of our membership structure has culminated in accessible price points for individuals and a reduction for many of our existing membership base. We are committed to those who seek to move forward, make progress, and effect positive change, and our new membership model promotes this commitment The appointment of a new Executive Officer, Joanna Giannes signals a new era for The Leadership Network demonstrating stronger commitment to a further disciplined and enhanced focus on building leadership capacity in the Australasian region. ‘A stronger focus on resources, webinar’s and developmental opportunities for our members is a priority for 2019 and beyond. 08.01.2022 "I never really had one of these big dreams. And so I advocate passionate dedication to the pursuit of short-term goals. Be micro-ambitious. Put your head down and work with pride on whatever is in front of you... you never know where you might end up. Just be aware that the next worthy pursuit will probably appear in your periphery. Which is why you should be careful of long-term dreams. If you focus too far in front of you, you won't see the shiny thing out the corner of your eye," said comedian, composer, and director Tim Minchin. https://www.inc.com//from-steve-jobs-to-oprah-28-leaders-c
