14.01.2022 Today we attended playgroup at Bright Futures Kwinana. Due to the weather we spent the morning inside where there were many activities and invitations to play. Some of the children created their own game using a wooden spoon to launch a knitted ball to one another. Others were interested in the compost bin and helped our Play Leaders to add some carrots and lettuce. We finished off the session by packing away and listening to Kinta read us a funny Halloween story on the mat

We are even prouder that our Educator Support Officer and Educational Leader, Lynne has been announced as WA Coordinator of the Year. 06.01.2022 Today we created this simple activity using a few old tennis balls and some pebbles The aim is for the children to squeeze the ball to open where I have cut a gap, and to fill the inside with pebbles. This has sparked much laughter and conversation all while helping the children to develop their fine motor skills, colour recognition and counting. We are yet to decide whether they are frogs, Pac Men or happy faces
