18.01.2022 Ourschool partner Newcomb Secondary College is delighted to launch an alumni-funded scholarship aimed at helping a Year 11 student to finish Year 12 and pursue an interest in STEM. The school reconnected with ex-students Lynn, Barney and Gerry Glover through the Newcomb Secondary College Alumni program, and they were keen to give back to the school. Professor Barney Glover AO (Class of 1976), Vice-Chancellor of Western Sydney University , spoke to Alumni Program Coordinator Jennifer Chiu about the annual award and why his family decided to give back to the school in this way.

14.01.2022 The Ourschool team caught up for a long-overdue catch-up last week, celebrating the year with a picnic at Treasury Gardens. After dozens of video meetings, this was the first chance for some of our alumni program coordinators to meet each other in person!

08.01.2022 Students across Ourschool's network of Victorian public high schools heard from an outstanding line-up of speakers who work at Multiplex, a global construction firm, at our third and final Industry Insights session of the year. The session showcased a range of career pathways in construction, including project management with Elise Weavers, who hails from Shepparton High School. In this clip, Elise talks about switching from architecture to construction, and women in her industry. Thank you again to Yue-Li Tan, Liam Gallagher, Elise Weavers, Nauman Akhtar and Beck Ricardo at Multiplex for sharing their career journeys and insights with students around the state!
