"DETAILED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for LARGE HAILSTONES, HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WIND" The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 4:40 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on weather radar near Dapto, Pt Kembla, Glenorie and Shellharbour. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Hornsby, Wollongong and Gosford by 5:10 pm and Mona Vale, Terrey Hills and Terrigal by 5:40 pm.
