21.01.2022 Art Auction - On-line - Stones Corner Kindergarten needs you.... Due to COVID, they are unable to hold their Art Show event where parents or community members can bid on collaborative artworks. These funds go to purchasing the materials and resources used in the educational program each year for the children. They are trying to turn this into a positive by spreading the artworks far and wide to encourage bidding! Here are some photos with the details included. We currently need undies for boys size 14 and 16, or small to medium mens undies, girls/ladies crop tops from size 10 upwards, roll on deodoran...ts (no glass), face washers, books for older teenagers, new baby clothes size 00 and 0, and 100 new backpacks to put everything in for our next orders! As well as everything else continually needed on the attached list... As fast as donations come in, they go out in the Care Kits. In the last 2 years we have delivered well over 2100 Care Kits, as well as over 700 extra toiletry, education, toy or winter components. Well over 45,000 items have been hand crafted from donated fabrics and yarns in the #waronwaste from In Stitches Brisbane and sister groups or individuals. Sadly, demand continues to increase, but we are blessed to have increasing numbers of wonderful people who create or donate. Shortfalls in donations of any items means we have to continually find funding to buy those items. Hence the pleas for online voting or giving to attain funding, so thank you very much to those who help in that way. Together, thats a lot of love for children in need from kind and generous Queenslanders... well done all of you! See more
