25.01.2022 Our Reconciliation lunch was a great afternoon. The theme of this year’s Reconciliation Week is More Than A Word. At Woonona East Public School, we take reconciliation extremely seriously and are so proud to have Aboriginal Education thriving in all of our classrooms.

22.01.2022 Our SRC are organising a Term 4 fundraiser. It's a Christmas dress up/mufti day, next Thursday 3rd December. They ask that everyone who dresses up, brings in a gold coin donation. They will also be having a candy cane guessing competition and colouring in competition in the weeks to come.

12.01.2022 Feel Good Friday! $230 raised for the Children’s Ward at Wollongong Hospital. There was hardly anything left for us to drop at the Salvation Army. Thanks WEPS Community and congratulations to our driven and passionate Year 5 coordinators of this initiative. ... The Head Nurse in the Children’s Ward has told us we made their day and that they will spend the funds on their new play area in the ward. They will use the toys in there too.

All second hand items will be sold at a stall at our school this Friday. There are some great toys, books and games. Everything is $2. All money raised will go to the Children’s Ward.
