17.01.2022 Mad Maddie's Silly Hat day was a lot of fun, and thanks to all those who wore their daft hats and took part. Eliza, Noleen, Doreen, and Trevor all won prizes for best hats, well-done guys. To add to the fun, Gumpy had the shed on the 5th up and running, with drinks for sale and a pot of boiling saveloys that were very much appreciated by the crowd that gathered there on that frosty morning. His Wobbly Board Tee-Off Challenge proved beneficial to Greg, the winner, as he landed closest to the green taking out the prize. Seven meat trays were raffled off at 2 pm, and the happy winners were contacted immediately. The wood fire blazed as we all enjoyed the free BBQ, listening to country music that soon had the ladies up on the dance floor, making for a great Saturday afternoon.
