24.01.2022 The stunnning flowers of Acer negundo violacea (a form of Box Elder Maple). The young branches are powder blue and the leaves are a purple/green.

21.01.2022 A couple of lovely Hakeas flowering in the garden at the moment. Firstly the more common Hakea laurina and secondly the soft pink flowers of the unusual Coastal Hakea, Hakea clavata which comes from coastal areas of Western Australia. It has strange very think succulent like leaves and an abundance of flowers for the bees and honeyeaters.

18.01.2022 Many of our Aloes are putting on buds now to flower mid Winter, early Spring. They are a delight for the Honeyeaters. Here are some of last year's images....The... last image shows the fabulous foliage of Aloe plicatilis. We have purchased many more varieties this year so are looking forward to some spectacular displays to come. See more

15.01.2022 The new shop is taking shape with a succulent roof to be installed. But we are loving the paint colours with the harmony of the autumn foliage of Japanese Maple behind. Taro iiyama's new sculpture (in the foreground)will be placed above a water feature situated behind the new shop. We are having fun!
