22.01.2022 The Orange & Millthorpe Markets 4-Day Coach Tour - Day Four After concluding their visit to Abercrombie House, our passengers headed along the Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains, before arriving at The Lolly Bug, in the tiny village of Little Hartley. Upon arrival, they had time to shop in this amazing confectionery outlet. By the time nearly 50 people unloaded their purses and wallets in this establishment, I'm guessing the cash register drawer was a whole lot ...heavier! :D After departing from The Lolly Bug, the passengers headed back to the Roadhaven Cafe complex, at Eastern Creek, on the outskirts of Sydney. At this point, all of the Sydney and Central Coast passengers boarded six Feeder Vehicles, ranging from chauffeur-driven black Mercedes vans, to mini-buses with luggage trailers, to be conveyed back to their homes. Our Canberra-based passengers continued home in the Main 56-seat Coach. It was another highly successful trip, with the passengers all returning home with wonderful memories and newly formed friendships! Many of them are now looking forward to our next extended tour in February, 2020!

21.01.2022 The Griffith & Riverina Region 6-Day Adventure Day No.5 - Thursday 6 May 2021 - Part 5 After departing from Pacific Fresh Orchard, John guided the coach driver to Randall's Organic Rice and Oats. This organic rice farm, situated near the tiny village of Murrami, is owned by locals, Peter & Jenny Randall. ... Upon arrival, Peter gave our passengers an informative talk, prior to showing them the rice field. Peter & Jenny also produce a number of products on their farm to sell in their farm shop. The passengers watched rice cakes being made, and got to taste them straight from the machine. Griffith-based, Pat Sergi, the rice farmer who owns the property opposite the one we were visiting, was harvesting his crop during our visit, so we all got to view this process, which was very interesting. After departing from the rice farm at around 4.45pm, the passengers returned to Griffith and the motel, where they had time for a brief rest, prior to sitting down to a two-course pre-ordered dinner in the motel's restaurant.
