22.01.2022 We're still in fifth position... but only just .. we're starting to catch the leaders. . Just like the bees... let's keep spreading the word and keep those votes coming in... All this work for a toilet. (haha) It will all be worth it in the end. ... just think.... Saturday morning tea and coffee at the bees...

20.01.2022 If you watch the bees individually they appear to be in chaos.. but as a group..a macro organism you can see them marching into the hive..because they can smell the queen pheromone coming out if the entrance...this is the last of a swarm marching in.

In order for us to do classes and open up our bee site for visits this season we need a toilet.... so, we have entered a competition to win one from Australian Portable Toilets... 10.01.2022 Forest Red Gum.. also known as Blue Gum and many other names is currently in flower around the Illawarra region.. keep an out out for it and say HI to the bees as they busily gather the nectar.

09.01.2022 End of another fantastic day...and although most of us are looking to relax, the bees will be working for another couple of hours packing away the days nectar... We can smell the sweetness as we wander through the apiary.
