16.01.2022 We spent Earth day on 22nd April at Wandoo National Park helping Department of Parks and Wildlife, Western Australia with some restoration work at the Deefor Conservation wetland. The wetland is home to a small population of two rare species of trigger plant. Many 4WD enthuisiasts are not aware of the significance of the wetland and the purpose of our working bee was to erect signage which gives information to visitors and shows where they can and cannot drive. Some of the eroded areas were repaired and barricaded while other tracks were left accessible. We trust visitors to the area will heed the message on the signs and do the right thing. Outback Accessories along with Perth 4X4, 4WD USA, Modern Motor Trimmers, Track Care WA Inc and Motor Trade Association of WA have sponsored the signs.
