20.01.2022 We are about to crank up our well known Lake Eyre Tours, starting in July. We are not the biggest operator, but what we lack in size is made up for in experience and knowledge of the outback. And many Lake Eyre Tours over more than a decade. We specialise in small group tours, so you are guaranteed to a spot in the front seat in our Cessna 210 for at least one segment. Our highly experienced tour pilot, Cracker, knows the area like the back of his hand, and will give you an e...xpert and personable commentary both in the air and on the ground. Our tours allow enough time on the ground to meet the locals, and enjoy discovering the small outback communities of Birdsville, William Creek and Innamincka. And a river cruise on the Cooper Creek at Innamincka is just the icing on the cake. Call us, email us or check out our website at www.swas.net.au. First in best dressed!

20.01.2022 There is a bit of water going down the Diamantina system. Lead water is now around Birdsville. Should be quite big. It was 1cm below 1974 at Diamantina Lakes. Cooper Creek has a couple of smaller peaks in it, but no world beater at this stage.

09.01.2022 We are looking for another couple to join us on our Lake Eyre Tour departing 7th June 2017. It may seem silly, with the temperature outside today nudging 43 degrees, but we will probably enjoy a fire at Birdsville then! @outbackairtours #lakeeyretours
