14.01.2022 Newsletter Update Hello friends of Outback Scenic Tours Australia It may seem we have been a bit quiet, but that’s not entirely accurate. We worked feverishly with our friends and put on the Australian East Coast Land Rover Festival 2013 in March. This was a 3 day event predominantly for those with an interest in Land Rovers as an inaugural event it went well with approximately 60 Land Rovers and 120 people attending. ... Since then we have been working towards a Gulf Country trip coming up soon in June departing from Blackall in Queensland on June 3rd and taking in overnight stays in Winton, Burke and Wills Roadhouse, Adel’s Grove (Lawn Hill National Park), Burketown, Karumba, Chillagoe, Innot Springs, Undara, and concluding in Cobbold Gorge a beautiful spot. This is a trip directed at experienced outback travellers and has been priced accordingly OSTA have included the minimums such as non powered tent sites in commercial caravan parks en route to provide a level of amenity to make it comfortable for all participants. We have also included entry to National Parks as required and enough time for you to have a good look around the various destinations and take in the commercial activities that are available in the time frames. In Normanton a run on the Tin Hare has been included which should be a bit of historic fun. So at this point if you have some time, and itchy feet, feel free to join us as we depart in a couple of weeks for the Gulf. There are 2 spots available as of now so have a quick think about it!! So if you are looking for a Trip to the Gulf Country in Far North Queensland in June 2013 let me know with your interest by the end of next week Friday the 24th May [email protected] and I will discuss it further with you. News for Later in the Year A lot of you have indicated that you would like to get out and about closer to home, and with that in mind we are looking to offer an activity every month starting in September. These will be either day trips or weekend trips and then conducting our extended trips in the Winter season. The dates for later in the year will be up on the web site by the end of July. We are heading out to the Corner Country in July with a film crew to shoot some footage showing how much fun it is to travel on an Outback Scenic Tour Australia Tag a Long Tour we are very excited as to where this may lead us in the future. November 10 th and 11 th Bendethra Valley in Deua National Park - some challenging hills with a rewarding campsite in Bendethra Valley.
