12.01.2022 LOST CAMPERS NT police say they're concerned for the welfare of five campers who failed to show up at Ruby Gap, east of Alice Springs, this weekend. Four women... and one man, aged between 25 and 30, were supposed to meet friends at Ruby Gap on Saturday night but never showed up. The friends sounded the alarm when they returned to Alice Springs and couldn't find the group along the route home. They were driving a 2012 white Toyota Hilux fitted with a canopy, a nudge bar fitted with two spot lights and NT registration number 653414. They are believed to have taken food and water. Police says a decision about search efforts will be made later this morning but anyone with information about the lost group is encouraged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
