20.01.2022 Daly River Reopen Barramundi fishers will be pleased to know that from Saturday the 1st of February the Daly River seasonal closure from Moon Billabong Outlet ...to Anson Bay will be reopen. Anglers are also reminded that within the Daly River Fish Management Zone (DRFMZ) special management arrangements apply: The personal possession limit for barramundi is three per person. A minimum size limit of 55cm and a maximum size limit of 90cm. Additionally, there is a maximum of three king threadfin per person, with a maximum size limit of 90 cm fork length. The Malak Malak Land and Water management Rangers will be actively patrolling the river this year, dont be shy and say hello. 19.01.2022 With Covid 19 restrictions starting 2 ease & the Build up only a few months away we are glad 2 announce that we will be taking a couple of hire boats down 2 Por...t Roper. The 6m Taipan & maybe a 5m boat, late October through to the end of December so who ever is keen to catch that 1m Barra make sure u book a boat & dont miss out. This will be a great opportunity for anyone keen as you wont have to tow the boat out along the track. The main trawl runs will b marked in the sounder for those who havent fish the area before. Fuel can be supplied @ extra cost. Rods & lure packs also for hire. Guided fishing trips can also be arranged. See more
