17.01.2022 #harvest2020 if I don’t post the pictures did it even happen? True to the theme of 2020 being a bit of a raw deal for most and throwing up a host of challenges, this harvest has indeed been a bag of mixed blessings for Team Westpoint. Despite the hail storms and some significant rain - finally we are here harvesting! I’m reminding myself these are crops that we would have been delighted to be harvesting anytime in the past 3 years. So rather than dwelling on what could have been, I’m going to have to count a few blessings and get on with things. #selfindulgentmomentover

Over 12 weeks @theweeklytimes will highlight women on farms and off them, in rural towns, sporting clubs, businesses and schools whose achievements deserve to be recognised. From stories that have appeared throughout the year, finalists will be chosen in six categories: Passion, Belief, Grace, Spirit, Dedication and Courage. (I have been lucky enough to be nominated) but I do think it’s such a wonderful initiative that I urge you to think about some of the amazing women in your own region and give them a little acknowledgement by nominating them. Who knows, they could walk away with a cracker of a prize from @harveynormanau !

Impressive work from #poppywillo June/July drop average weight 55kg. He would tell you I learned from the master, just quietly, I’m pretty sure I’m still learning - but don’t tell him that Not forgetting all Fliss’ hard work of course!!)
