08.02.2022 Hmm somethings not quite right with this Hydraulic Hub....

07.02.2022 Hmm somethings not quite right with this Hydraulic Hub....

05.02.2022 This one is going back a few years ive only recently found the old photos but i built this trailer back in 2017 for a station owner who had a few specific requirements they were looking for in a trailer.

03.02.2022 I was recently approached by Fort Knox Security to help design and make a suitable bracket to mount the new WiFi booster to the old tower behind the CFS shed. Ideally i had to design, proof check and get the brackets sorted in just under a day so there was still time to install before the crew left back to Adelaide. If it didn't happen that day it would have been another 3 months until they could return and finish the upgrades.

26.01.2022 A good mate of mine flat spotted one of the 4 stock rims on his Nissan Navara on a dirt road and really wanted to keep the stock set and so that he still had a spare to go to work with just to be safe in case something similar were to happen again.

19.01.2022 A while ago my Mum brought another property and there were a few old boxes of mixed old cutlery in a box she thought i might be able to do something with..... I'm not particularly creative without any inspirational idea to go off so they sat for quite a while in a new box in my shed, until i got some ideas of Facebook recently. They were getting to be in the way in the shop as i have a tight area to work with, so i thought id tidy up and stick as many of them all together as i could and give them back to Mum.

18.01.2022 This one shows how long its been since i posted last.. by now most people would have seen the extensions to the Iconic Cradock Hotel. I got a Call from Dickie one afternoon seeing if he could get some frames designed and made up as he had the timber for the surface there ready to position, and typically he was hoping to position them the next day... It was a bit of a push to get them done painted and out of the way as i had a vehicle expected to come in later that day, but we got them sorted and manged to lay out the frames and the first wooden slab mid afternoon the day planned.

17.01.2022 So i Can Add another Material to the List now at least... I Welded up a Titanium exhaust for a Friend of mine a while back and having never welded Titanium before i was bit unsure of the quality of the end result but it has stood the test of time so far and hasn't been treated particularly gently hoping to expose any potential faults. Feels good Knowing i can somewhat confidently take on more jobs like this in the future and i still in 3 years haven't had a material i couldn...'t weld from brass, copper and other mixed alloys to older cast irons and titanium. With the exception of a couple cast alloy jobs that were not pure enough material to hold a stable arc. If you have a welding job that your unsure is possible or if you have a job with a material i have not welded before, ill happily put in the effort to learn the process' and source any consumable i may need in my own time, no matter how small or large the job.

16.01.2022 Few weeks ago i went out on site to repair a structural support for a small tractor. I had to remove the structural arm from the tractor to cut back and repair properly, it had let go in one quick snap when the tractors bucket was overloaded. This part had been previously repaired several times and if not for previous repairs it would have snapped clean off as it was only held together by the build up of previous repair welds and not alot more. (no completed job photos, will upload in near future)

16.01.2022 The Best Thing about doing what i do is if i ever need anything from basic tools to storage solutions or any specialty item i may need, there are not a lot of cases where i can buy it cheaper than i can build it, and having the option to build most things i can modify it to my use or needs.

08.01.2022 Its been quite a while since ive posted anything on here and its been a pretty busy few months. I've got a several photo albums to put up over the coming days so i figure ill start with a few of the smaller bits and pieces that have come through the shop over the last few months. (Job Descriptions in Photos)

07.01.2022 I rebuilt and fitted up new leaf springs to this boat trailer about a month ago for our local publican. The old trailer had seen better days but being such a simple frame and design it was a nice quick and easy job to get it up to par again and re coated to protect it from the elements before it got too far gone.
