We are looking for ten staff to work at the Outback Oktoberfest held in Winton, Outback Queensland, from the 20th of October until the 28th of October. Your meals and accommodation will be supplied and your transport (Brisbane to Winton via Greyhound) will also be supplied so all you need to worry about is contacting us to say you want the job and come to the Outback for a week and have a blast. Outback Oktoberfest beg...an four years ago in small town 350 + km’s south east of Winton and has now outgrown its location and has moved up the road so you will be part of the very first Outback Oktoberfest that the North Gregory Hotel in Winton will hold. The North Gregory Hotel is also famous for another reason and that being it was the location of Banjo Paterson’s first recital of the famous (unofficial national anthem), Waltzing Matilda. Waltzing Matildas’ main character was a German man by the name of Samuel Hoffmeister would you believe, so what better place to hold an Oktoberfest with some German connection. Apply immediately as we need to get you to Winton so as you can learn the run of the place and help out with the setting up. You will definitely be one of the attractions of the event as where else in Outback Queensland would you see beautiful barmaids in their (not so traditional) dirndls? We promise to make it an enjoyable week for you with lots of fond memories.
