23.01.2022 If you are hiking the Dutchman’s Stern near Quorn this season the Friends of the Heysen have repaired the water tanks at the hut. Fire season in the Flinders Ranges is earlier this year but you can still hike and cook safely with butane stoves. We have vacancy in November at the Outback Shack to sleep in style, with A/C! 11.01.2022 Gotta love the aerial view. Ask Trevor Wright at William Creek to fly you over this legendary scene and why not now since all this beauty rain has fallen up north?

09.01.2022 A few of the locals strutting their stuff for the Pichi Richi arrivals in Port Augusta... you don’t get this sort of treatment at Grand Central Station! Only in South Oz

09.01.2022 Easter marks the official open of the Outback Shack’s tourism season in #quorn in the SA #flindersranges and here’s some of what we’ll be doing inbetween munching on dark chocolate eggs!

05.01.2022 February in Quorn, everyone needs a drink, figs are out, natives are blooming, upgraded Warren Gorge is looking spectacular .... and empty! Beat the Easter crowds and book a short break in the Flinders Ranges and Outback Tourism soon! #outbackshacksa

02.01.2022 Phew! Well it’s February in the Flinders and we just took a drive 18kms out of Quorn- have you seen Warren Gorge lately? If it’s been awhile since you’ve done the #flindersranges we Shackies recommend the day hike followed by a few coldies in the shady campgrounds. Bewdiful! Covi-whaaa?
