25.01.2022 Our health professionals will be at the frontline of our fight against the coronavirus over the next few months. A heartfelt thank you from all Australians for ...everything you are doing, and will do. We are doing everything we can to #flattenthecurve to ease the burden on you. Thank you also to all the other incredible people on the frontline working to support our communities - including teachers, teacher aids, cleaners, delivery drivers, bus and train drivers, supermarket workers and so many others. You are the best of Australia.

24.01.2022 I visited a pump I had installed a few months ago, it is stopping because of (Low Source) the water is drawing down because of the load on the local aquifer from a number of large bores in the area. There is a restriction at 45 meters so dropping the pump deeper is not an easy option. This pump is pumping the water directly into the dam. This is a good example of a pump that is working 2-3 times harder than it needs to. 670 sq meters of surface area will deliver up to 7000 liters to evaporation, I have slowed the pump from 3300 rpm to 1300 rpm delivering just 1000 lph. A couple of Poly tanks and a few troughs will go a long way to resolving this problem.

22.01.2022 Blocked off this little mob to push them back to a mate knocking down some scrub to feed them

19.01.2022 Nice to see some rain out west. Had a bit of a scout around while I was still waking up this morning.

18.01.2022 Now this is a great invention.

18.01.2022 Doing a service run to Ivanhoe. Clare Richardson getting back into Aussie driving after 2 years of walking most places in Niger. 200km of Road Kill Ally she’s all over it. Quite overcast and the Lorentz PS2-4000 is still cranking out the water.

16.01.2022 NextG camera sending photos via email or MMS, These are an affordable camera that can be supplied with their own small solar panel with inbuilt Lithium battery. These three photos from the one site. Retail $670.00 camera, panel and colour bond metal sun protector.

16.01.2022 I'm resharing this post, I spoke to John the other day to catch up on how the pump was performing and to see if they believe it is paying its way. Since this original post, I have been back to install a "Reaquatron" this enables us to plug the pump into a 15Amp power outlet and with the aid of a Sun Switch, the pump switches from Solar to power at night and back again in the morning if extra flows are required. at the time John had a bore drilled close to the Darling River ...and I transferred the pump from a raft pumping river water the consistency and smell of decaying flesh into his new bore. Since installation, the electricity costs have dropped from a steady $2500.00 a quarter to $280.00 and he reckons a bit of that is people camping in his shearers quarters. His estimates are the pump and bore have cost a tad over $50,000.00 if everything goes to plan he considers his payback is five years and his stock actually want to drink the water.

12.01.2022 A few drone pictures from Ivanhoe this week. Even use it for a selfie stick when the works all done.

06.01.2022 Not just for stock water any more.

03.01.2022 For Sale $20,000 neg. We are selling our Waker Neuson 803 Mini excavator. New tracks, one spare partly worn track. Mud bucket, 230mm digging bucket with Tiger teeth, Digger hydraulic post hole auger 200mm dia. Only done 393 hours. I have changed the type of installation work and do not need this machine as I did. https://www.wackerneuson.com//t/TechnicalData/unit/metric/

03.01.2022 I have a Lorentz PS2 200 HR14 Solar pump including 2 x 270watt panels and post mount in stock, this pump will lift 25,000 L/day to 20m. This would be great in a shallow bore, in a poly tank as a transfer pump or in a river or dam on a float. These pumps have a four-year warranty if I install them. I am happy to change the pump end to lift higher head pressures. Keen to discuss your requirements. Mobile 0428214001.

03.01.2022 I made up this Floating pump for a customer at Ivanhoe NSW, something a little different. 800 km round trip for the day. For those interested in the numbers: The pump is a Lorentz PS2-600-HR10 running off two 330watt Jinko solar panels, Dam is 5.5 km from his house with a 21m lift to 45000 liters of storage. The pipe is old 1,1/2 rural poly I fitted a pressure transducer and programmed the pump to maintain 4.5bar 65 psi and shut off at 5.6bar 81psi with a float valve in the tanks. The pump in (June) at 3:30pm was delivering around 1400 litres hour. The Fire fighting pump is back in the shed waiting for its turn. The clients are happy to be able to water their garden now without the 11 km round trip to pump up the water. This is the fourth solar pump I have installed on the property.
