18.01.2022 Ramzis family fled Afghanistan because of the civil war. When he was 16 Ramzi had to leave Pakistan, so he got on a boat and sailed to Australia. The boat was so dangerous that it sank, and Ramzi almost drowned. He was thankfully rescued and after spending some time on Christmas Island, Ramzi moved to Australia. He finds it really tough being away from his family, but speaks to them often. Ramzi loves being able to help the community, and to swim as often as he can.
