19.01.2022 To all who attended the Mooroolbark swap last Saturday, Claire is looking for her 2 jars - chilli seeds in small spice jar with a hand written label on the outside saying mixed chillies and spring onion seeds in a round salsa jar with a hand written label inside saying spring onions. Those were her jars of seed supplies. Please take what you need and return the jars (with any extras) at the next Mooroolbark swap in December. Thanks!

07.01.2022 I was so excited to be at the swap this morning and seeing everyone again that I've forgotten to take pictures. So I took a picture of the tomato seedlings I've brought home instead :) I have only been able to germinate one tomato plant and that's still really tiny but someone else had an excess of tomato seedlings. While I'm swamped with oranges, lemons, coriander and many other plants. That's the beauty of the swap See you at the next one!
03.01.2022 Save these and drop them off to Central Ringwood Community Centre when they start collecting.
01.01.2022 Poor Man's Capers - you don't have to be poor to enjoy this! If you grow nasturtiums, harvest the seed pods to pickle them. Kids love harvesting the seed pods so that's a really great activity for them to get outdoors. If you don't grow nasturtiums, you should. They are easy to grow, edible, beautiful, attract beneficial insects, repel pests and come back year after year without any extra work! You will never have to buy expensive capers again. I follow this recipe and th...ey turn out great. Keeps very well too. https://www.gardenbetty.com/poor-mans-capers-pickled-nastu/
