13.01.2022 Zen Blade forBrett has the whole package of accumulated knowledge from a lifetime of surfing shaping design construction and refinement. A third of the board is alive with flex , Vee stingers giving extra rigidity in the entry , no stringers in the tail 1/3 , then a about 10 of pure flex using 3 kinds of carbon fibre and hi end resin. I use a sealed cell foam rubber , borrowed from boogy board tech to restore the foil and replace the material that ive sculpted out to crea...te the flexible section. So there are hard and soft materials in play . The flex allows me to use a faster rocker in the tail because of the variable curve . A deep central concave with vee control planes gives Formula 1 style acceleration . This one has triple concaves , another interesting design tangent . Coupled with 4 of my SwitchBladeFins theres more tech at work than a NASA space launch ! This one is a 6’8 x 20 x 2 1/2 for Brett , fresh filler coated ready to sand .
