23.01.2022 Our GV Pride Rainbow Fun Run/Walk and 10-day Pride Step Challenge saw over 150 people participate throughout the ten days by logging their steps, wearing rainbows and getting out in the open! As part of the event we have some prizes to give away... Congratulations to Tiani Hombsch, for your super duper effort - we’re recognising you with the GV Pride member stepper achievement award for involvement and enthusiasm. 05.01.2022 Respect is asking my pronouns. Some of our LGBTIQA+ committee and volunteers got together for a photo in preparation for the #16daysofactivism #callitout campaign and we couldn't wait to share this photo with you all. Why!? ... Well today is the beginning of Transgender Awareness Week and using the correct pronouns for someome is being respectful to a person. If you don't know someone's pronouns, just ask them. 02.01.2022 Thats a wrap for our 2020 OUTintheOPEN Festival! 10 days and 18 events has surely flown past this year for us all! We have loved this year's variety, community spirit, connectedness and above all our resilience as a community to keep this Festival alive and bring the pride and love we all needed this year. Our biggest thank you to all of us from the #oito2020 committee to all of YOU! Our amazing community, everyone who attended an event, said hi, came along, participated -... you make this Festival and drive the community inclusion we all love.
