25.01.2022 Still been getting some good Snapper but targeted Amberjack the last few Charters and caught our limit with most fish in the 4 to 8Kg range along with a few solid Yellowtail Kingfish.Good to see some rain over the weekend ,hope they got it where it was needed !

23.01.2022 Done a handful of Charters over the past couple of weeks and again the fishing has been consistent.When we`ve targeted Snapper ,we`ve boated some solid fish and school sized Ambo`s have turned it on for us.

22.01.2022 Managed to get a couple of Charters off before the weather turned to crap .We boated some solid Ambo`s to around 12Kg and plenty of good Trag, best one was 92cm long.We also got a couple of good Dollies to 10Kg.

20.01.2022 The cooler weather has definitely fired up the Squire and on Charter of late we`ve been pulling plenty to around 4Kg .Yesterday`s crew bagged [36 Snapper ] did it in just over 2 Hours .

19.01.2022 Had a couple of months off after knee surgery but been back on the water for several weeks now .Fishing has been solid with plenty of quality Amberjack stretching clients backs and Snapper numbers are on the increase.

18.01.2022 Been a bit slack on the posts of late but since the heavy weather we had during February due to the Cyclone of the Qld Coast the fishing has been really consistent.Plenty of bag outs on school sized Amberjack in the 4 to 8Kg range and the Snapper have started to turn up in the past week weeks .

18.01.2022 What a great run of weather over the past 5 days .Amberjack kept us busy catching our limit every trip and when we chased Snapper ,we boated some solid fish in the 2 to 3Kg Range.

17.01.2022 Had some good weather in the past couple of weeks and the fishing has been very consistent on most Charters . Good quality Snapper have continued to dominate catches and when we`ve chased Amberjack ,we`ve also had good returns but Sharks have been an issue . Even had a 8 to 9Ft Great White turn up around the boat and try eat a few Snapper !

17.01.2022 Sensational weather and plenty of Snapper and Quality Squire ,it doesn`t get much better !

17.01.2022 It`s good to be back on the water with the new 9.3 Metre boat up and going and the Covid Restrictions having eased a little. We have done a hand full of Charters in the past couple of weeks and we have caught our bag limit of Amberjack on every trip along with a few Yellowtail Kingfish [One 20Kg Model ] and a few Trag.On our last Charter, now that Snapper are back on the menu,we had a quick floatline on the way home and a landed a few solid 3Kg fish .I`d like to thank Sam Preston and his crew at Performance Plate Boats for again building me a cracker of a boat .On another note ,lets wish our Southern Neighbours well in the Covid Battle and hope we can keep it out of Queensland ! 16.01.2022 The weather over the past few weeks has been a bit up indifferent to say the least and there`s also been a lot of current around. We`ve had to work hard for fish some days,but we`ve still boated some solid catches of Amberjack,Trag and Snapper.The run up to Christmas usually fishes well,so let`s hope for some decent patches of weather in the coming weeks.

16.01.2022 Managed to do several trips back to back this past week and the fishing has again been red hot.We`ve caught our limit of Amberjack on every Charter along with a few Snapper on some trips and some solid Trag on others.There is some good Snapper around at present but it hard to drive past shoulder stretching Ambo`s when they are on the boil. Shark`s have been a problem and anything of size that takes too long to boat is getting crunched.I don`t know where the experts are gettin...g there info on Shark numbers reducing from ,they`ve got their head" somewhere "and need to get out from behind their computers ! On my first Charters on the new boat it was nice to have local" Legend" and long time friend John Palermo on the boat and I`m sure the new Boat impressed John and I think he was keen to come out of retirement.Again I wish everybody good health in these testing times ! 14.01.2022 Amberjack in the 4 to 6 Kg Range along with some good Trag have kept us busy on Charter of late.When we have targeted Snapper, we`ve still been getting some solid fish.

13.01.2022 Had a great run of weather of late and Snapper Fishing has been full on ,with plenty of bagouts some in only a few hours .Quality has been very good also with plenty in the 3 to 4Kg range with the odd larger one [ None out there appartently,if you listen to Fisheries. What a crock of shit this current review is, the data is that flawed ,it`s nearly laughable ,except for the fact they are threating closures because of the way they interpret it . Most fisherman I know are c...atching plenty both in the Bay and Offshore ].We switched from live baiting for Amberjack to Snapper Fishing towards the end of May and the only tough Charters we`ve had were right on the June Full Moon ,when the Snapper were most probably in spawning mode .Since then there`s been plenty of Snapper chewing on most lines of reef.Sharks again have been a real issue and it`s hard to drive away from feeding Snapper , but best to find another patch than feed the bastards ! 09.01.2022 Beautiful weather offshore of late and quality Squire to around 4Kg have continued to chew well and we`ve caught our limit on all recent trips .

09.01.2022 The great run of weather has continued and so have the Snapper with plenty of quality fish keeping us busy on both early morning and afternoon Charters. Done a Jigging Charter yesterday and we got some good assortment of fish including twice getting two fish on the one Jig as you`ll see in the photo`s.

08.01.2022 Some solid Snapper and Squire have keep us busy catching our limit for the past 3 days. The quality was down a little on Friday ,but we picked up some better quality fish over the weekend in the 3 to 5 Kg range and they even bit well in the squally southeasterlies we had offshore today.

06.01.2022 Some of our recent Charter catches . Fishing has been consistent of late with Amberjack to 10 Kg and solid Trag dominating catches and they should continue this month.Last week we had a couple of good sessions on Squire up to around 3Kg. We did put the hooks into a few bigger ones but the Tax Man did us over .The back side of the Full Moon in both October and November proved to be quite tough Fishing and we had to work hard for our fish but it seems to have turned around now .

04.01.2022 Fishing has again been solid of late but it`s been a real mixed bag. We`ve had some good sessions on Ambo`s along with some good Trag. On the days we`ve gone Floatlining ,there`s been some good Squire about and there`s also been some hefty Dolphinfish around .
