14.01.2022 Thank You: We have two words we would really like to say to everyone who will be reading this letter. It might take us a little to get there, but understand ou...r hearts are pure but also our hearts are broken. We all understand how precious life is. We all have our family and we all have our friends. In our world of racing, our family and friends are one in the same. We live together while at the same time we compete with each other. We win together, we lose together but most important we help each other. Time and time again we have small and large tragic moments, some are on the track and some are off, some are at home and some are private. The synonymous part of all of these tragedies is how our racing world responds to them. Support from our racing family has been like no other support system in the world. We use the strongest of bolts and fasteners of all kinds to keep our race cars together. Whats stronger then any of that is our support for each other when we are hurting. Its really hard to express in words the gratitude for all of the support shown for Dom. Dom is a perfect 10 when it comes to love, honor, being positive and most important his kindness to everyone. Dom is in the battle of his life right now and so many people have stepped up to help him. Each day there are improvements and each day there are new challenges. This will be the norm for awhile for Dom. We are here to support Dom and you all have proven that you want to be there to support him as well. We will do our best to keep our family and friends up to date on Doms continually changing condition. Right now he is in the right direction with the guidance of his doctors, nurses and the good Lord above. We have faith and we will rely on our faith to get through this whole situation. 14.01.2022 Sad news , the passing of one of our legends, John "Stomper" Winterburn..a man who had dedicated his life to hot rodding and drag racing, he was involved from t...he 1960s, with first, the HUSTLERS Car Club, and many other Queensland clubs, he was involved with all the early Brisbane Hot Rod Shows, at the same time, an official, and later Meeting Director of Surfers Dragstrip , but most know him from his involvement in the creation of his favourite, Willowbank Raceway. An ambassador for Australia, he took hundreds of aussies to USA on his Travelaire Tours , both hot rodding and drag racing, and was so well known to many Americans...Stomper, you will be missed by many, may you Rest In Peace. See more

03.01.2022 Alexa Dejornis Pre-Race Report ROCKiT at Indy Del is my mentor and the person whose car I licensed with in the first place and Nicky was one of the first peopl...e at Kalitta (Racing) who I talked to when I made the transition from Top Alcohol Funny Car to nitro Funny Car. Del and Nicky (are) the dream team for me, she admitted. In the short term, that dream team has struggled to race up to its own high expectations in a season shortened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Its hard to get in a rhythm when youve only got a handful of races, DeJoria said. Indeed, what the team has needed since it assembled in late 2019 is just more runs down the racetrack. Normally, by Labor Day weekend, DeJoria, Worsham and Boninfante likely would have made in excess of 100 competitive runs during qualifying and eliminations. This year, though, because of event cancellations and the imposition of a new format in which there are only two qualifying runs per event instead of the traditional four, DeJoria has made only 21 competitive runs in five events and reached the finish line under power only nine times. Thats why the team spent last week testing, an investment the three principals hope will pay off in performance this weekend. A five-time pro tour winner whose career began in Super Gas and Super Comp and included a national event victory and a pair of runner-up finishes in Top Alcohol Funny Car, DeJorias need for speed dates to her childhood when she used to ride her BMX bike off my grandmas dock and into her saltwater pond.
