22.01.2022 Outlets Co-op Neighbourhood House LTD is extremely fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers and who offer their time each week to ensure our program operates smoothly also our staff who volunteer extra time to ensure all goes well. During National Volunteer Week we would like to acknowledge and thank our volunteer Committee of Management, activity facilitators/tutors and team for the vital role they play in making "Outlets" NCEC a fantastic space for our community to connect, learn and contribute.

18.01.2022 NOTICE - CoVID-19 information Outlets Co-op Neighbourhood House LTD has a duty of care to its members, Students, Children and staff. We are receiving advice through many avenues being Commonwealth, State, Local govt, DHHS, VCOSS, Network and advisory bodies, there is certainly a lot of communication. We have implemented preventative systems at Centre and ALL Staff screened.... We recommend to all the following preventative procedures: If you have returned from o/seas recently, or in contact with someone from o/seas; If you have been in contact with someone who has virus; and if you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu like symptoms Please Stay home & contact your doctor. If you have a pre-existing medical condition that may make you more vulnerable to infection (this includes lung, heart and diabetic conditions) you are being recommended to limit contact with people. We will remain open till end of Term 1 27th March and program to reopen 14th April for Term 2

14.01.2022 ~Celebrating Neighbourhood House Week at Outlets~ We have been very busy the past few weeks upon returning after a 3 week break due to COVID-19. We have been operating and following the required hygiene sanitizing procedures at the centre. Our List of Accomplishments so far:... * Supporting over 50 families and Individuals with Food and Material Relief. *Oz Harvest Donating Hamper Boxes and Food Weekly with over 200kg worth of Food for our local community. *Staff delivering hamper packs to vulnerable clients weekly. *Dukkah Restaurant in Sth Kingsville Donating Pantry Items. * Supported Wyndham Park Community Centre initiative, by sewing over 200 Masks and 10 Hospital gowns for Western Health. *Childcare has been open and operating Wednesdays and Fridays, supporting essential workers. * Childcare have had new experiences with cooking, bubble painting, Playdough with the introduction of Hygiene Procedures. *Admin has not stopped with the re creation of how a Neighbourhood House delivers to the community and trialing new methods in our diversity. We are operating for Emergency Relief Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.30am-2.30pm.... We require clients to show Pension/ Low income card (CRN) number and details. Please spread the word!
