15.01.2022 I've just finished a series of workshops across the state to help a work group acknowledge what worked and what didn't work in 2014 whilst they worked through significant change. A common thread through all the workshops - people get a lot of job satisfaction from helping others even when everything else is bloody hard. I think the major swing back to labor here in Qld shows that we Aussies care for each other and look out for the underdog. We didn't want asset sales that might mean people miss out on services because they aren't profitable. As a small business owner, why not take a moment to reflect on how you are supporting your customers.

04.01.2022 Well, I've had a lovely few weeks switching off and spending time with family. I've read books, swum, cycled and bush walked to rejuvenate my mind and body. I've reviewed my strategic plan and now I'm setting goals for 2015... Are you ready for 2015?

01.01.2022 Good reminder... buy local, buy ethically, you also get better nutrition. Support small business and particularly services which have a smaller carbon foot print but still contribute to growth... oh and buy second hand. These are all great things we can do for the next generation.
