24.01.2022 A memory of that time we all got back on the water after three months of lockdown! https://www.relive.cc/view/vdvmBgPmZxO
20.01.2022 What a champion!!!!
19.01.2022 Keeping busy this long weekend! Roof repairs at the club and walking the dogs. Whatever you are doing, we hope you are enjoying the sunshine and keeping safe
17.01.2022 Windy passage paddle this morning with our new V3 from Tahiti
16.01.2022 Outrigger Caloundra will be adhering to advice from the Australian Government and our governing body AOCRA about social distancing. As a result, all OC6 training has been suspended until guidelines have eased off. If you can think of ways we can maintain our club culture and keep active during this time, share your thoughts and lets make it happen!
16.01.2022 Can’t wait to meet our members AT THE BAR when we are training in OC6s again! But until then, we’re having fun on the OC1s and rocking our new club shirts!
13.01.2022 We are back doing what we love with an exemption to the 1.5m social distancing rules! Many thanks to everyone who made this happen and to our members who followed our COVID safety plan this morning!
13.01.2022 Congratulations to our Open Women’s crew and Alison Joyce who competed in the 22km Sydney Harbour Challenge yesterday. Outrigger Caloundra girls were 5th over the line in a field of 27 and Alison’s Outrigger Whitsunday crew were 11th out of 46 including international crews from New York and Singapore. Thank you AOCRA for running this successful event, Mitch for towing our canoe and to our club members for all your best wishes and support #SHC2020
12.01.2022 Paddle & Play Date! Parents, carers and kids are welcome to join us every Saturday at 8:30am for a splash around Pumicestone Passage #activefamilies #ilovecaloundra #aocra
09.01.2022 Sending a shout out to the Sunshine Coast Council for their support of local sporting groups. We were able to secure funding through the Council’s grant program to purchase a three person canoe. This will enable us to develop steering skills and accommodate odd numbers at training
07.01.2022 Bluey captured this magic photo of our two crews wrapping up their OC6 session this afternoon. During these times of social distancing and efforts to flatten the curve, we’ll never take group training for granted again! https://www.instagram.com/p/B96TCFJho8m/
05.01.2022 It’s never too cold for paddling!!!! What an amazing story with an important message about valuing our environment and the history of voyaging. Outrigging is so much more than a sport
02.01.2022 Beautiful day for a paddle with 28 mates, 5 canoes and 1 wave of the day! So grateful to be back on the water as a club
