23.01.2022 What a character !! This is Dawns mosaic cat created in glass. After learning the shards technique of cutting and laying in a small sampler, Dawn took on the challenge of a whole cat...and I just love the result !

23.01.2022 Ready for grouting is the gorgeous frog plate created by Jazz from hand cut glass and glass pebbles.

23.01.2022 I wasn’t there as I had a previous commitment, but the Grevilleas got grouted today. It’s a pale grey/green. Epoxy grout so stain proof and food safe. Better photos when I go to see it but this was sent to me by the installer.

Over the two days our mosaic enthusiasts each explored a style of mosaic they were interested in to create a fabulous artwork. All beginners with a passion to learn. Thanks ladies for being one of my highlights of recent weeks !!

This one is made all the more special by making the artworks interactive using the Artivive app. You can find the 5 Christmas inspired artwork around the streets of Wauchope, though sadly this one's been effected by the rain ! 09.01.2022 Anne spent this weekends mosaic workshop creating this colourful artwork, which is now ready to grout. The work was created from hand cut glass laid in shards technique and incorporating herringbone and palladium laying techniques.

07.01.2022 FIND ME ON HIGH ST WAUCHOPE! Download the app ARTIVIVE, scan the image and watch it come alive! This image by Francessca O'Donnell, of Out There Design and Mosa...ic, is one of five artworks by local Hastings Artists as part of a festive art project. Find the images on Hastings St and High St, Wauchope and see how they change when viewed through the app! The image is called Festive Magic and is painted in acrylics and highlighted with Posca Pens. The design’s colourful swirls come together in one of the traditional symbols of the festive season, the Christmas tree. The artwork was inspired by Christmas baubles and Australian natives. Francessca has been working as a visual artist for over 16 years, and is well known for her mosaic installations, her four characters in the Hello Koala Trail and regular mosaic classes and workshops. This artwork is one of four designs that has been recently been selected for community projects on the Mid North Coast. The Wauchope Chamber thanks our artists @Krissa Wilkinson, R.M.
