20.01.2022 Today the Church celebrates the solemnity of the Sacred Heart! But we here in Wilcannia-Forbes celebrate more so as our Cathedral in Broken Hill is named after the Sacred Heart! This means more celebrations for us! Happy Feast day everyone!!!

20.01.2022 #ACYF17 Has hit the ground running two years ago in Adelaide, Bishop Columba was joined with only two young people from Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes of Wentworth Parish with Joseph and Anthony. This year the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes and Bishop Columba has been well represented with once again Joseph and Anthony, along with two young teachers of Peak Hill of Erin and Nicole accompanied by the inspiring Therese Newell. Fr Simon and Tom McKeown have done a tremendous effort of supporting four teenagers to attend from St Laurence O'Toole's Forbes Parish, as they explore their Catholic identity. Fr Shane Reade, Vincent Kamba and Mel Sullivan have also taken the pilgrimage.
