So we have already done a full decontamination wash along with a claybar treatment to get rid of any particles in the paint. We will then carry out a 2 stage paint correction, targeting some key areas the customer has requested we sort out, then we will apply... Well today we are going to answer those questions and give you some helpful advice to help guide you through the process ! ... Paint Correction is the modern day term for all things machine polishing based around vehicle paint. Based on the traditional terms like ‘cut & polish’ , ‘buff’ , and others, Paint Correction is the new age term for more in-depth and advanced machine polishing to achieve a finish beyond what you have ever seen previously. It takes various different styles of machines , pads , compounds and polishes to meticulously cut and polish the most severe defects to the more finer defects present in your vehicles paint work whether it be new , old or restored. Here at Outwest Detailing Services we want everyone to love their paint and really want to you to love what drive and we do this by ensuring our paint correction processes gives you the best possible finish available. There are 3 main types of paint correction available on the market: Single Stage paint correction - aimed for newer cars with rather decent condition paint work. Utilizing one pad and one polishing series to refine your paintwork to a high gloss defect free finish. 2 stage paint correction - this is the most go to paint correction process that will cover the majority of cars out there. This process utilizes a series of machine polishing. The first series being the cutting series where aggressive pads and compounds are used to eliminate severe defects before going into the second series which is refining or polishing to refine down the webbing/marring from the cutting stage and achieve the unmatched gloss and clarity. 3 stage paint correction - this stage is where a vehicle requires wet sanding. Unfortunatley as Of today July 1st there is a price increase with our packages, some as little as $10, we have still priced ourselves very competetively compared to others in the market and the level of professional service we offer to our customers. From today onward...s we will be quoting per job, per car as no car needs the same amount of time and effort put in to make it look its absolute possible best, we will be requesting photos for ALL interior and larger packages. As we do offer Paint Corrections and Ceramic Coatings, we will now be requesting 30% deposits to secure your booking as there are products and a large amount of time that goes into each and every paint correction. 05.01.2022 Venkat's Opel Astra all done and dusted, we carried out the following - 2 bucket wash - full paint decontamination - Microfibre towel dry ... - 2 stage machine polish - 5 year ceramic coating - 2 year external plastic trim protection This opel was covered head to tow in major swirl arks and holograms from bad washing techniques and another detailing having a crack at fixing it. We where able to remove around 90% of the swirls marks and defects on the paint work whilst bringing back massive amounts of gloss and shine again.
