24.01.2022 Sorry for all the spam today. This is Tiger Lily. One of my more mature clients. She is an extra special . When we first met well over a year ago she was so shy - to shy to even poop or wee at all when I minded her. Too shy to get many pats but she would hang around me. Over time and many minds we have developed an incredible cat-human relationship and I love her so much. For the record she now fills the kitty litter and she dribbles on me too.... I love the bond I can build with the furkids. I love visiting them. Ps you’ll notice the shaved neck...she’s had a few health hiccups lately

24.01.2022 When you totally fail as a petminder and drop into a clients house on a personal matter without treats. Then have ti borrow clients treats cause otherwise dogs may just sack you from future duties

23.01.2022 Honey’s mumma took Honey to a Doggie Dates walk tonight. She fitted in so well! Popeye,Onni, Lumi, Rocky, Bonnie all enjoyed walks. Lovely day for is all!

23.01.2022 Beautiful start to the day.

23.01.2022 Welcome to the newest member of Out with the Dogs Looking forward to some fun at Christmas

22.01.2022 Three homes four cats today. Ranging from kitten to geriatric. All so loved and all friendly...yes friendly but not necessarily cooperative!

22.01.2022 It’s always a great feeling when the furkids slaves arrive home - not because I am happy to be off duty but just because another safe and successful petsit is complete. Zoe, Peppa and Lucy were all so well behaved and delightful to look after. Peppa and Lucy are repeat clients and Zoe is new on the books. All such lovely girls with beautiful, quirky personalities! Thank you for your trust

22.01.2022 What a day - 11 visits spread throughout the day plus my housesit - and I was on top of it. Luckily I am highly organised. However on visit number 3 hubby called me to tell me that my youngest retriever, Lucy, appeared to have broken her ankle, that it was ‘hanging’. I hadn’t seen her since yesterday but he said she was fine last night and couldn’t walk this morning. On top of that our old girl was refusing to eat which is very unusual. I can not explain the stress I felt at ...not being able to be there but I was able to pop in between visits and yes her ankle was very loose. Dolly has some issues with lameness but nothing like this. My girls are my world to me and imagining Lucy seriously injured was unbearable and we have a very special connection together. I will share this in a future post for those who don’t know. I managed to finish my morning visits and walk my housesit dogs then give Dolly and Lizzy TLC while hubby took Lucy to the vets. While Lizzy was with me she suddenly had her appetite back and ate home made doggie cookies-chicken ice-bbq chicken and watermelon! And was much brighter. (She was very flat on arrival). Hubby was at the vets a few hours (had to wait to be squeezed in). It seems Lucy’s ankle is not broken but just a muscle injury and bed rest and anti-inflammatory treatment. She was clearly being a drama queen and purposely hanging her leg. Meanwhile I’m completely shattered and heading to bed at 630pm for the second night running. On the upside although I shuffled times a little-everyone got their usual quality of visits. I take my job very seriously and treat your pets like mine Here are some pictures of my gorgeous clients today! Thank you to those who knew for your kindness.

05.01.2022 I can’t explain why I get so emotional when I find injured wildlife but it really upsets me and I have a real eye for spotting them. This morning at 7am I was driving to a clients house and saw this Tawny Frogmouth on the opposite side of the road being attacked by magpies. Turn around - grab towel - throw over and in my car. He/she waited patiently while I did my feed, came back to my housesit then on to Killarney Vale Vets.... Wishing the best for him Always stop for wildlife if safe.

05.01.2022 Our mums are very environmentally friendly. Check out of friendly compost.

02.01.2022 Remember how Dolly ate the Advent calendar before we could do the competition? Well it arrived at the winner’s home today thanks to Puppyporium. They made a special effort to get their very last one to us by 1/12. We are very thankful. We suggest you check out their amazing products!... The winners of the doggie hamper say, ‘Kaisha's Avent calendar arrived today. I can understand why your dog ate the whole calender. She was so excited and kept sniffing over the box and was bouncing around when I was opening number one.’

01.01.2022 This is Georgie. She is our AMAZING vet from Green Point Veterinary Hospital. When we moved from Sydney we had equally AMAZING vets at Rossmore Vet Hospital and did a lot of research to find our new vet practice. I’m often saddened to hear of negativity regarding vet practices. Especially regarding costs and that they won’t allow late accounts. Or comments like vet bills are criminal etc. Unfortunately most people have no idea of the costs involved in running a practice incl...uding insurance, rent, medications, staff, training and equipment and on top of that the YEARS of training these incredible people do. Oh and don’t forget there is no medicare for our pets. Ultimately you have the choice where you go. A vet practice is a business. Not a charity. Yes they love animals but no they can’t work for free. Next time you are at your vets, remember to thank them. Post up a positive about them on social media. Georgie a message to you - thank you SO much for ALL you do for us, you really have gone over and above on numerous occasions and the purple tailed retrievers you. https://www.facebook.com/Green-Point-Veterinary-Hospital-1642999585929584/ In our thread below tell us about your awesome vets including their details.

01.01.2022 Christmas is coming and I’m getting plenty of enquiries about bookings for the Christmas time. Please note that this is my busiest time of year and priority goes to confirmed bookings through Pawshake or through my private business. I have been asked by a few to hold spots just incase but if I get a confirmed booking that will be taken. I know this is a difficult time for many but it’s also been a difficult time for me this year and I need to look after my little business so I can keep going.

01.01.2022 It has been an absolutely please beautiful girl. Till next time
