14.01.2022 Yesterday I spent a few hours listening to some of Dr Wayne Dyer's podcasts. Positive thoughts create belief and with belief comes action and with action comes opportunity. Anybody who enjoys listening to self-help and motivational podcasts would benefit from his incredible wisdom and insights. . . . .... . #selfbelief #personaldevelopment #mentalhealthmatters #waynedyer #selfcareawareness #resume #resumewriting #resumehelp #jobsearch #resumedesign #career #coverletter #resumes #resumebuilder #careergoals #careerdevelopment #resumeadvice #interviewtips #job #interview #careerchange #careeradvice #jobinterview #resumetips #graduate #jobhunting #personalgrowth #careergrowth #valueyourself See more

11.01.2022 Ah, the dreaded cover letter. Every time you sit down to write one, you probably browse cover letter examples online, get overwhelmed, and think something to the effect of: Does anyone really read these? Firstly, yes, cover letters do, in fact, get read. In fact, to some hiring managers, they’re the most important part of your job application because they showcase why they should hire you, and stand out above all the other candidates. Read on for just a few of our top tips o...n ensuring your cover letter is in great shape. Research the company Before you start writing, find out more about the company and the specific job you are applying for. Look at the company’s website, its executives’ Twitter feeds, and employee profiles on LinkedIn. Find out what challenges the company is facing and how your role would help address those. Always address directly to someone. Start strong Too often people start with, I am applying for x job that I saw in y place. With the number of applications hiring managers receive, you need to stand out from other candidates by starting with a bang. Emphasize your value Hiring managers are looking for people who can help them solve problems. Drawing on the research you did earlier, demonstrate that you know what the company does and some of the challenges it faces. Share and quantify your accomplishments showing how you can address the employer’s challenges. Keep it short Most cover letters I see are way too long. Cover a lot of ground succinctly so that someone can read it at a glance. Finish how you started Your closing paragraph is your last chance to convince the hiring manager why you would be a good fit for the role. .. . . #resume #resumetips #resumehelp #jobsearch #resumedesign #career #coverletter #resumebuilder #resumewriting #careergoals #careerdevelopment #jobinterview #resumeadvice #interviewtips #interviewcoaching #careerchange #jobinterview #graduate #hiring #recruitment #getmehired #jobhunting #careergrowth #jobsearch #jobseeker #jobinterview #resumeservices #professionaldevelopment #resumeadvice #tips #outwritecreatives

10.01.2022 1. Network, network, Network The holidays are a great excuse to contact old employers, acquaintances and friendsto let them know you’re looking for your next opportunity.Call them to meet up for coffee, attend lots of partiesto put yourself back on their radar. When questions about your career come up, focus on what you’ve done in the past and what you’re hoping to do in the future. You’re not unemployed, just between opportunities. 2. Send Christmas Cards/Emails... Not all holiday networking has to be done at parties. When you’re sending letters to Santa, throw in a few holiday cards to reconnect with friends and former colleagues. The main objective is to have an annual check-in with people who could be helpful personally and professionally. Who knows? With the right mix of holiday mixing and mingling, you may end up starting the new year with a new job. 3. Research new opportunities IfSanta doesn’t drop that full-time dream job into your lap, use the holiday period to research new possibilities for next year. Find an organisation in your field searching for volunteers, look into further education options, or find a professional association where you can make some industry connections. 4. Make a realistic calendar Take all of that new year resolution energy, and all of your research from Step 3, and create a realistic calendar filled with goalsand other things you hope to accomplish next year. Mark down industry events, course start dates, and any other job-related deadlines that may help you turn your visions of into reality. 5. Relax Use the holidays to recharge your batteries and enjoy some love and support from family and friends. With a renewed sense of confidence, you’ll be in much better spirits to continue your job search in 2021. . . . #2021goals #resume #resumetips #resumehelp #jobsearch #resumedesign #career #coverletter #winningcoverletters #resumebuilder #resumewriting #careergoals #careerdevelopment #jobinterview #resumeadvice #interviewtips #interviewcoaching #careerchange #jobinterview #graduate #hiring #recruitment #getmehired #jobhunting #careergrowth #jobsearch #jobseeker #jobinterview #resumeservices #professionaldevelopment #resu

02.01.2022 Professional profiles are important because they immediately show a hiring manager or recruiter you have the past experience and strengths to effectively execute the tasks of the open position. A great impression in your professional profile increases the chances they will read the rest of your resume and contact you for an interview. Since a professional profile is a quick way to introduce yourself to employers, it should consist of your experience, education and achievement...s. Below is a sample profile I recently wrote for a National Marketing Manager’s resume: Pioneering leader with over eight years of verifiable experience managing SEO and PPC campaigns. Expert at boosting online presence and website traffic for companies with annual marketing budgets over $500,000. Growth-centric B2B partner credited for launching world-class product commercials, campaigns, tradeshows, etc.. . . #resume #resumetips #resumehelp #jobsearch #resumedesign #career #coverletter #resumebuilder #resumewriting #careergoals #careerdevelopment #jobinterview #resumeadvice #interviewtips #interviewcoaching #careerchange #jobinterview #graduate #hiring #recruitment #getmehired #jobhunting #careergrowth #jobsearch #jobseeker #jobinterview #resumeservices #professionaldevelopment #resumeadvice #tips #resumeprofile #outwritecreatives

01.01.2022 Our imagination is one of the keys to a productive life. In fact, life is only limited by a lack of imagination. Our imagination is the key to untold worlds when we grow up as children. And it has been shown that children with very active imaginations are more likely to dream as adults and strive for more things. To achieve your goal, learn to use your imagination, and raise your thinking to a higher level. Your imagination is going to motivate you to move in the direction of... your dreams. So go, be courageous, live, and keep pursuing your dreams .. . . #resume #resumetips #resumehelp #jobsearch #resumedesign #career #coverletter #resumebuilder #resumewriting #careergoals #careerdevelopment #jobinterview #resumeadvice #interviewtips #interviewcoaching #careerchange #jobinterview #graduate #hiring #recruitment #getmehired #jobhunting #careergrowth #jobsearch #jobseeker #jobinterview #resumeservices #professionaldevelopment #resumeadvice #tips #dreambig #outwritecreatives
