22.01.2022 If you’re a new parent, or maybe expecting, have you considered reusable nappies? They’re not only a lot cheaper, but also much friendlier for the environment,... reducing a major contributor to landfill waste. We’re presenting a free online workshop next week to provide all the information you need, including the types of nappies available, how to clean them, and some of the myths surrounding reusable nappies. Cloth Nappies 101, presented by Elana from Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne, will be held on Sunday 21 June from 2pm. To register email [email protected]

12.01.2022 The Salvation Army in Melbourne is asking for donations of home-made cloth face masks to distribute to vulnerable people. Many people who use the Salvation Army... services can’t access or afford disposable masks. If you're handy with the sewing machine and have some spare time ... and fabric, you can help by donating adult-sized masks. For hygiene, each one needs to be individually wrapped. Enclosing an uplifting message or note is also welcome. #spreadkindness #salvos Masks can be posted to: ATTN: Gary Reid The Salvation Army National Communications Warehouse PO Box 297 Richmond 3121, Victoria.
