18.01.2022 UPDATED ROADMAP: Restrictions are changing in Queensland from 4pm, November 17. We’re carefully easing restrictions as Queensland continues its recovery from th...e pandemic. From 4pm on Tuesday November 17: Up to 50 people can gather in homes and public spaces across Queensland Person limits in indoor premises will increase from 1 person per 4 square metres to 1 person per 2 square metres Up to 200 people can attend weddings and funerals, and all guests can dance at weddings, both indoors and outdoors Seated, ticketed indoor events like theatre, live music, cinemas and sports can increase patron numbers from 50% to 100% Outdoor events can have up to 1,500 people attend with a COVID Safe Event Checklist. Open air stadiums can increase seated capacity from 75% to 100% with a COVID Safe Plan Outdoor dancing will be allowed, including at events like outdoor music festivals or in beer gardens Queenslanders have worked hard to stop the spread of the virus, which means we can enjoy more of our Queensland way of life and keep Queensland’s economic recovery plan moving forward. #covid19

11.01.2022 Results of games from Carnival - Dingoes vs Goannas Dingoes vs Goannas - comfortable win to Dingoes, who won the toss and sent the lizards into bat on a sticky wicket. Peter Tims (C) made but just not enough runs on the board 122 after 45 overs. Frank Doherty took 2 / 14 of 8 overs for the Dingoes and Keith Christensen had a tight 4 overs taking 1 / 2. The Dingoes got the runs after 26 overs without too much trouble.Keith Christensen getting 41 runs off 19 balls and good to see Ron Faulks back with a well played 29. Man of Match was Keith Christensen, Kerry Emery and Michael Rattenbury took the match balls and Merv Brewer and Frank Doherty got the MoM awards. Image: Kerry got a ball

09.01.2022 Introduction of Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association The idea of formation of veterans cricket association had come when Ideal Group organized a tournament in Karachi in 1997. The final of this tournament was contested between Ideal Group and A. O. Clinic and this match was also televised and then PVCA was formed on 23rd April 1998. At the time of the formation of the body the basic idea was to reactivate the former cricketers ...and bring them back in the field of play. The ensuing response was far greater that was being initially anticipated and the PVCA was off to a flying start. Tremendous enthusiasm was generated in the cricket fraternity and many of those having hung their boots were lured back to the arena they loved to be in. #cricket #pakistan #veteran #sports #australia

09.01.2022 Latest update of Over 60's Cricket World Cup in 2021 Attached image shows a proposed program for the rescheduled Over 60's Cricket World Cup which will be held on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland in October/November 2021. As for the staging of 60's Cricket World Cup in 2021, it will be dependent upon the opening of World borders and the resumption of International Air Travel. Currently we are unable to do much other than wait it out in anticipation. . CCMS actively collaborates with fitness professionals, mental conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, families and other groups within Canada to promote physical, social, and emotional well-being through active and open communication. Their aim is to inspire seniors to employ their leadership skills and volunteer their time for well-being of self and the communities they live and engage in.
