25.01.2022 Day #12 Dai Lanh to Nha Trang 91km Total Distance 1474km ..... Probable the best morning we had waking up at picturesque Dai Lanh Beach, there was no rush and everyone wanted some relax time so it was a slow morning enjoying breakfast and the swimming pool. Phi and his family joined from Tuy Hoa mid morning and at 12 we set up for the steady ride to Nha Trang. Heading once again down the QL1A until there was a suitable coastal road to enjoy and the final stretch into Nha Trang was another short but scenic route hugging the mountainside. Its was chaotic to be in such busy city traffic once we hit Nha Trang but it was only a few minutes of weaving before meeting up with friends once again.

03.01.2022 Day #13 Nha Trang to My Hoa 110 km Total Distance 1584km We're so close to home being surrounded by familiar territory and getting ready for the final run. We started the day at 8 am with, yep you guessed it, morning coffee and banh mi and was on the road by 9 am. Once again it was a glorious sunshiny day and we followed the coastline out of Nha Trang and over the main bridge out of the city towards Cam Ranh airport. It was a leisurely ride as we only had 100km t...o go so we kept the bikes in a low setting so as we didn’t need to waste time to recharge the batteries. At 60km we had a quick rest with our traditional Nuoc Mia, sugar cane juice, this drink gives us such a boost we then began part of our final ride. It was s such a relief to get off the main highway QL1A and head along the DT707 which is one of the great Vietnam road trips through our very own Nui Chau National park, we are blessed to have this magnificent road on our doorstep. As we came close to Vinh Hy low and behold some of our local kitesurf buddies passed by on motorbikes as they had been kite foiling nearby, so once again a nice feeling to see familiar faces. With just a few hundred metres to go along the roadside juts approaching the Phi Kite School we were greeted by friends and family cheering and waving flags. That evening we were well-fed with an amazing spread put on by the Phi Kite school but everyone was still early to bed as our bodies are starting to feel it now and tomorrow we make the official last stage of the event which is tonight at the Cuban Bar and Grill in Phan Rang, hope to see some of you there.
