24.01.2022 Me and my one-photo-pose* here to say that buttongrass snug skirts are restocked in red and charcoal with black buttongrass prints on or website. These are super comfy, versatile and elastic free, and great for both work and play. Please remember to size up at least one size on this style and reach out for sizing help if you’re not sure! x . *with apologies to @nutritiousmovement and all the RES who taught me better.

18.01.2022 About to print one of my favourite screens so far, a giant kelp + Waratah anemone design drawn by hand and then transferred over to the screen... I just love coming across the impossibly sleek and pleated strands on the beach with their fertile ocean smell, or seeing them washed by the waves...

17.01.2022 Our next website restock will happen just in time for our next virtual market on September 26 with @handmadecanberra . . 05.01.2022 Honestly, every functional thing that gets made is a true miracle. It hits me every time. There are always so many opportunities for failure, for oversight, for slight mistakes. For almost-there-epic-failure (like the winter wallabies who found their way into our vegie patch, or me flinging ink onto a perfect print ). But we keep on going and making and learning to pay attention. Giving thanks for work that is both challenging and nourishing, and for the work of all the bea...utiful makers and growers we have in our communities. 04.01.2022 We are 100% committed to using resources well. We minimise waste by thoughtful cut lay out and design, and lovingly make tiny numbers of special things like these merino wristwarmers. This takes SO much care and time and thinking but it’s such a joy to live our values and honestly that’s the main thing.

03.01.2022 Merino neck gaiters are perfect for those of us who like keeping our necks toasty but can’t commit to a turtleneck for the day Also great for frosty bike rides and twisting into cute beanies. We have a super limited run we’ve made from fabric remnants in the studio in this warm paprika, bright sky blue, black and mustard. Use the market code ‘HANDMADEVIRTUAL’ for 10% off. @handmadecanberra #virtualhandmade
