25.01.2022 Out capturing a commission piece in the Hunter Valley! Keeping busy while we wait for our truck to be repaired and we can take off! We thought the sky might light tonight, but it didn't look like it was going to, until it did! The rollercoaster of landscape photography...

24.01.2022 One of our recent stays allowed us to check out the Old Cleveland Lighthouse (QLD). We went at sunset and enjoyed a walk around the point, a play in the playground and sealife hunting around the mangroves at low tide. We stayed at the Tranquility Retreat in Thornlands, QLD, which was a self-contained only camp on WikiCamps on a Strawberry Farm. Errol was a lovely host, and have us a jar of homemade strawberry jam on departure. We met the lovely @big_lap_baby_in_tow and Aria... had a great time playing! Aria and I also visited the "Cascade Gardens" and playground just 5 minutes down the road, which was fantastic too! Definitely another 3 places to add to your trip! 21.01.2022 FINALLY!!!! Our latest YouTube Episode has been uploaded. https://youtu.be/NqmjtzFc4gE . We have been trying for 6 days to get it loaded but with the weather and internet we have had it just hasn't been possible (we also had some other technical difficulties). Anywho... We show you our first HipCamp, a Scouts Camp and just general time exploring around Brisbane area. We didn't have our truck for a lot of the time so we didn't venture too far but still had a great time, plus... when we did have the truck we tested him out in some 4WDing. Definitely showing you some different parts of Aus! We also apologise as our insta360 camera's microphone wasn't working and we didn't realise so we had to do some voice over and a bit less talking than normal. Cheers guys! 19.01.2022 A fantastic few days at Sapphire Beach NSW. Dog friendly caravan park right on a dog friendly beach, which you can walk along and over a board walk to a playground and park area with a cafe that is also dog friendly!! The caravan park had a playground, pool, putt putt, billy karts, volleyball net, so much entertainment and kid friendly!! Highly recommend if you're in the area! 18.01.2022 First night of our big trip completed! Close to "home" but beautiful, "Jody and Shannon's Cheap travels" at Horseshoe bend in Maitland. Minutes away from Maitland high street, a little patch of farm life. Now we are off to a Cafe for breakfast because we didn't have time to shop yet :P

12.01.2022 Ally was the dummy when our #insta360 camera and dog strap (+many other accessories) were delivered today! It's sooo cool, can't wait to to do videos with it!! So many laughs had already!

11.01.2022 A great day out in the Hunter Valley. We went to Rose Point Park for a picnic and play! If you're in this area it's a must! It's accessible for all kids and all ages, with lots to do, a sensory garden with smell, taste and touch plants, great shade, toilets, BBQs, and heaps of tables and chairs!! The train line goes straight next to it do if you've got a train interested child or hubby it's an added bonus .

09.01.2022 Well, not everything goes to plan apparently. Our truck, Iveco Daily 4x4 has 160,000km and had a new engine put in about 35,000km ago by the previous owner. We picked up our caravan from Melbourne a few months ago, and on our return to Newcastle it started making. A bit of a tapping noise.... We finally booked it in with Iveco here, and they have discovered. A scored piston and bore :( apparently the engine is a write off! 35,000km old!!! Data shows no overheating, no overrevs, oil and fluids all fine. We are hoping Iveco come to the party and help us out, it's not officially in warranty as apparently spare parts only come with 12 months warranty, but we really hope they decide to assist, a commercial engine shouldn't turn into an anchor after 35,000km! In the meantime we are trying to stay positive... At least it didn't happen while we were on the road!
