16.01.2022 Just wondering how many groups have had to cancel due the Tasmania border now closed to NSW.

16.01.2022 Postcards from the tracks Overland and Frenchmans Cap Track rangers are greeting walkers, answering the usual questions and looking after the tracks, huts and ...other infrastructure. They have an important role as the interface between walkers on the tracks, the Parks and Wildlife Service and the tracks’ management systems. Their role is twofold, looking after the infrastructure and providing visitors with information and interpretation about the experience. Here is a snippet of the views from their office, not bad for a day’s work! Say hi to them when you meet them on the track! Paul Challen, Alan Hillier, Matt Smith, Melody Wisse, Michael Febey, Mitchell Abel, and Arana Flora.

02.01.2022 Overland Track Transport Deals for October Due to the lack of interstate and international visitors doing the Overland Track the team at Hawthorn Lodge have had to close the lodge until borders open. They are still able to offer excellent value transport only deals and any combination needed. Do contact via https://overlandtracktasmania.com/
