25.01.2022 Coaching isn't always pretty. The business of Fitness is not always training people, writing programs, and lifting weights. It's also not always hi-5's and PR's ... "Oh it must be awesome to work in a gym, you can work out all day!" haha. Often I barely get the time to work out myself. What people DON'T see is the hours that go into: - further professional development courses and seminars - admin - managing finances and book keeping - content creation (social media, newsletters, etc) - equipment maintenance - cleaning - retention management - marketing / acquisition - sales .... AND MUCH MORE! And this is on top of the 20-40 hours of Face to Face Coaching sessions each week. Shout out to all the Coaches out there absolutely killing it! I see you and I see the work that goes in to running a bad ass coaching business! Keep grinding. Let's make 2021 HUGE. #weareOP



24.01.2022 For an overwhelming majority of new gym goers, today marks the very first day in the marathon journey towards achieving their 2021 fitness goals. Congratulations The wave of momentum that is a New Year's Resolution serves us well for the first couple of weeks before the honeymoon period wears off and reality sinks in that this is going to be a little more challenging than we thought.... When things get tough (nights out with the boys, ice cream cravings, etc) it's important to have INTENTION to remind us why we've thrown ourselves head first in to this process and keep us off the train of temptation. What do I mean by intention? I'm talking about your "WHY". Why did you set the goals that you did for 2021. Why are they important to you? Why are they important to your family? Why are they going to make your life better? Why haven't you achieved these goals before? By asking these questions, and setting our intention to be successful, we can hold on to that New Year's Resolution momentum across the whole year which will undoubtedly take yoy closer to your point of success.
