23.01.2022 A SPECIAL FAREWELL TO DR REG PASCOE (Part One) We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contacted us and sent deeply heartfelt messages of sympathy, love ...and support at the recent passing of our husband, father, father in law, grandfather and founder, Dr Reg Pascoe. It's now the beginning of March and we would now like to share the video and photographs of the wonderful Celebration of A Life Memorial Service we held for Reg at the Oakey Cultural Centre on Saturday, 16 December 2017. While we knew that everyone needed some time to grieve, we also realised that so many of you have been busy with horse sales and family holidays over the past few summer months so we have waited to share the video and photographs until everyone was back into their familiar routines back at home. The Memorial Service was attended by our close family and friends as well as honoured colleagues and clients who travelled from near and far from all across Australia. The addresses were especially moving and gave a special insight into the remarkable life of Dr Pascoe. As wonderful as they were, however, everyone agreed that it was the music - provided by the up and coming Australian theatre and concert star Rob McDougal, who widely tipped to become the next Anthony Warlow - that really sent the spirits soaring. We think that you will be deeply touched by the warm and moving speeches, the same as we were. A lot of hearts were worn on the sleeve that day and so many stories shared the love we all felt for such a truly great man and there really wasn't a dry eye in the house. As everyone agreed over a cup of tea and a home made sandwich afterwards - Reg would have absolutely loved it. If you knew and loved the great man himself - this is a memory that we hope you will treasure. (Part One: The Photos: our special thanks to our good friend Dan Proud for his wonderful images.) The entrance to the hall was lined with large photographs of Reg and Joy. There was also a special avenue of young gumtrees. These symbolised that while a great gum tree had fallen in the forest, there was now room for new gum trees to grow. The Queensland Division of the Lighthorse formed a special guard of honour outside the Hall. Joy Pascoe with three of her four sons - (l to r) Roess, David and Andrew. John Pascoe - who lives in California - was unable to attend.

19.01.2022 THE MASKS ARE FINALLY OFF AT THE BANKING ROYAL COMMISSION A couple of years ago we met Charlie Phillot at Winton when we went up there for a farmers meeting with Alan Jones. We were so horrified at what had been done to him by the ANZ bank - not to mention so many other farmers - we wrote a letter and put it up on Facebook.... It went around twice six or seven months apart on FB and ended up with around six million hits. Along the way people kept asking - how could this happen? How could the banks butcher our own people without any kind of moral compass or sense of what was right or wrong, what was considered to ordinary 'community standards'? Well, tonight we watched the television coverage of the Inquiry. Meet Ben Steinberg, head of lending at ANZ. Did he care about farmers, about the people who produced food and fiber and fed and clothes our families - or did he simply care about his next bonus? You can work that one out for yourself.

THAT WILL THEN CAUSE ITS CLOSURE WITH DUST INTO THE CHOPPERS ETC. Think of the future of your town - these documents were presented by New Hope Coal to their shareholders. They are accurate.... This is why Pat Weir and his mates in the LNP - as well as Premier Palazsczuk and Labor - are so desperately keen that Condamine stays with them and doesn't go to an honest man in Frank Ashman and Pauline Hanson - people who have already sworn they will defend our prime agricultural land. These major parties have promised millions of of dollars to the people of Oakey - this is the same as Judas thirty pieces of silver money to make them feel good while they plan to destroy their town in the future. Oakey will become another Acland in the future - just you wait and see,

09.01.2022 URGENT - PLEASE SHARE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE QUEENSLAND DARLING DOWNS THIS IS THE TRUE EXTENT OF NEW HOPE CORPORATIONS PLANS FOR THE INNER DOWNS FOOD BOWL. This is not some ‘theory’ or ‘accusation’. This comes straight from New Hope Coal (NAC) own documents presented to their own shareholders as well as the Australian Stock Exchange. If they lie to them then they are in breach of stock exchange rules.... Now the Federal Minister for Transport Darren Chester (National Party) has announced that his preferred route for the Inland Rail just happens to come right past NAC own proposed mines at Bringilly, Pittsworth both east and West and Wellcamp. It seems there are no coincidences in either life or politics. The Federal and State National Party are clearly now doing the bidding of a major coal corporation who just happen to have made $1.6 million in donations from their various companies to the Conservative Party (both Liberal and National) over the past few years. Clearly, neither the Palaszczuk Labor Government or the LNP State Opposition have any intention of abiding to the Land Courts rulings and blocking the Acland Stage Three expansion. Why would they? There are another eight mines planned for the Inner Darling Downs by NHC and you can rest assured that the politicians from both major parties are probably right in on the deal. The royalties from all these mines will NOT go to the Queensland people. It will NOT built new railways or roads or dams or schools or hospitals or universities because it will almost ALL go straight back into the pockets of the Billionaire Boys Club - the rich Sydney investors that own NHC. Frank Ashman is the One National Candidate for Condamine and we stand beside him in saying NO MINES should ever be dug on our prime agricultural land. One must now question why there is so much deliberate secrecy around the Northern Australian Infrastructure Fund and how it allocates taxpayers money. Once it goes ahead, it lays the ground work for all their other mines on prime agricultural land. The people of Pittsworth need to know that you will have coal ...mines coming either side of your town - and surprise, surprise, you suddenly have an Inland Rail suddenly coming right past your town as well. The Labor Party are also supporting New Hope Coal, and that's why the two parties - all working for the same big mining donor - have referenced each other in order to get your votes away form Frank Ashman and One Nation.
