22.01.2022 For my friend Rachel.. you are all this. Even when Im going through my life stuff you still show up even when you are going through your toughest life stuff. I love you! I wanted to repost this because I want to do all that I can to support my friend... many of you know her as our much loved Ovvio manager and Naturopath from a few years back. ... AN UPDATE... Since her diagnosis on December 5th Rachel embarked on some intensive natural therapies before starting che...motherapy. She finished 6 months (16 rounds) of chemotherapy coupled with having to cope with being physically isolated due to Coronavirus. This meant being separated from family and friends which proved to be very difficult as fatigue became the biggest factor. Nevertheless, the great news is that shes responding to the chemo ......but treatment is not over yet. Shes only halfway there. After 16 rounds of chemo, Rachel is undergoing daily radiotherapy followed by major surgery. This is intense! At the start of her cancer treatment, Rachel also started a new casual job and works from home when she is well enough but unfortunately this does not meet all her medical costs nor everyday bills. Our pacakging is also plastic free. We launched with the support of our friends @fayedelanty @rocket_science @lowtoxlife @_sarahwilson_ @activeyogi and a whole lot of beautiful people.. Tea and coffee are the most widely consumed beverages in the world, with a huge environmental footprint says @anthia..._koullouros_naturopath . Tea and coffee packaging are notoriously indestructible and laden with chemicals. I couldnt reconcile promoting healthy products which also harmed the planet.
