25.01.2022 Building our home with Owen Pole Frame Constructions was a totally rewarding, stress free experience. From planning and design, through construction to choosing second fix style and materials OPFC understood what we were trying to achieve. They were flexible and supportive and communicated with us throughout the whole process. They offered valuable suggestions and advice, and their knowledge, skill and attention to detail has resulted in us owning a quality home. We are really pleased to recommend OPFC to future home builders.

We’re down to two choices and it’s tough enough being in close confinement with two kids, two dogs & two adults so please help us decide! for the roof design for the text

Time after time we are complimented on Chad and his teams attention to detail and their work ethic. This is what makes OCD the builders you want working on your home. 2021 is shaping up to be incredibly busy for the team here and we can’t wait to pencil in some time for you all.

22.01.2022 Days like these you really do want to make sure the hatches are battened down! Here’s a review of a recent shed reroof the OCD team have completed. Many thanks to Chad and the crew from Owen Construct and Design for great job on the workshop roof at the Fountain....nearly as good as i would do . Most importantly thanks to our father and grandfather for building such a solid shed in the first place.. including all bricks made on site. I still have the mould (very much unused since)

20.01.2022 Owen Construct & Design have been doing some officework after hours to perfect the new logo to match their new business name as of March 23rd 2020. We look forward to a year of new homes, extensions, renovations, and more for the Owen Construct & Design team. Thankyou for all who have supported us so far.

13.01.2022 Their knowledge of using the natural light to help create an environmentally friendly house was brilliant. They helped design our house to fully utilise natural lighting and a breezeway to keep our house cool in summer. The quality of their workmanship has been admired by other builders who have visited our house. Chad and Zoomers years of building experience made the process easy and non-stressful. When we were unsure about material selections we asked Chad to help with ideas and opinions and his solutions were perfect.

13.01.2022 It’s all hands on deck to get the brickwork finished on a current North Shields home.

12.01.2022 Just because it’s the weekend doesn’t mean we’re not keeping an eye on the job. A quick trip to North Shields to exercise the dogs - and kids! Plus show the family some updates on a current build. We hope you’re spending it somewhere warm with friends and family.

08.01.2022 What a beautiful environment to be working in while our current worlds in disruption. The site supervisors cannot fault this job on location. It will certainly be a spectacular view for the new owners once complete.

04.01.2022 What you see out and about on site is only half the business. Jenny is our office admin guru! Not only is Jenny a whiz at accounts and payrolls she’s a favourite amongst the youngest OCD members.

03.01.2022 When your 3 small children turn into teenagers.. it’s time for a big renovation! The house as they knew it has been gutted and it’s the new slab pour today. With views like this moving to a bigger home is not an option!

02.01.2022 Yesterday was a nice day to put the roof on our current two storey project. Note the perfectly straight roof purlins for the roofing iron to be screwed down to and the blue sisalation foil pulled up over the hip to help seal the roof space off. At Owen Construct & Design, we always recommend and use sisalation foil on all of our roofs to help keep the heat, moisture, creepy crawlies and dust out of your home.

02.01.2022 We received this handmade card last month just before our 3rd child was born. Chad and the boys at OCD put in 110% which this client recognized and expressed their thanks. To Chad, We can't express how grateful we are to you and your crew. Throughout the whole build the genuineness in character and craftsmanship has not gone unnoticed. ... You really listen to your customers, get to know them and therefore make suggestions that appeal to them and not just the latest and greatest. From Dave's perspective your pride in your work and old school building practices were appreciated, and you never took shortcuts - resulting in a strong home that we look forward to spending many years in. Thanks to your family, you put in long hours, and I know we contributed to this. So thank you, and hope you get some genuine time together after bubs arrives. Look forward to a celebratory drink at some stage. Cheers to the boys, and a big pat to the dogs from the kids. See more
